I love that they are LED and should last much longer ...
These are much smaller than I realized (duh, didn't read the dimensions), but they seem to do very well. I love that they are LED and should last much longer than a traditional fluorescent grow light, I think ( those lights last a long time but the actual spectrums change) we shall see how these do over the long run. I would like to get more.I used them in cheapo clip on lights with the big aluminum reflector. They were the light source in one of those 25 dollar bargain greenhouses with the clear vinyl cover to start annuals and veggies for my garden.Now I'm considering using them in the same greenhouse to try and keep an orchid alive. My biggest problem with orchids in winter has been the dryness in my house. We shall see! I also am encouraged to try to use them for a small planted fish tank (without fish) I am planning.all in all they seem to be what I needed and I will report back on my experiments.

I think this really works.
I got this light to start some seeds. It seems to work. My Black Eyed Susan's were planted 4-11-16 it is now 5-9-16. They sprouted a couple of weeks ago, they are not shooting up but I think that is good. I hope this means the roots are growing. Before when I have started seeds the shoot way up really fast then fall over. I have this light hanging over a planter about 12 inch by 20 inch. I do not know if I am supposed to but I just leave the light on all the time. It does not take up very much energy. The light does not give out heat so if you have seeds that need warmth, use a heating pad. I live in Indiana and I am hoping I will be planting these on memorial day. Time will tell.

Didn’t use them for long.
Good in theory. A full spectrum of light can do well but what seemed most important to my plants is a good intensity of light. I switched to these bulbs and my plants stopped growing quickly. After a little while I went back to CFLs, using some warm and some cool, and the plants did much better under those conditions.

Okay and GREAT customer service
In some cases this would be a great product. This light did not work out for me. I was trying to use it to help start garden plants indoors. It may be a bit small for my application. It does produce the correct light spectrum for plants.The customer service is great !!!! If I could rate just the customer service, I would give them 5 STARS. I contacted them and they tried to help me as best as they could. When all else failed, they gave me a complete refund. No questions asked.I recommend trying this product. It may work wonders for others. The energy savings alone (over standard grow lights) is enough to give it a try.
