Having waited for the product to be delivered it was disappointing to discover that the colour was not as advertised. Instead of a light eye shadow the colour is dark as if it has gone off. I would not recommend buying it, atleast not from this seller

After so many rave reviews I thought I was missing out. This is the worst eyeshadow I’ve ever used. From matte, to powder sparkly, to cream and back. This is terrible. Let me tell you why;1. Could not get the little brush to come out from the bottom of the pot. It has grooves. I tried sliding it, so did my partner who is a builder so strong hands. Nope. Won’t budge.Then finally he works out you need to get your nail in the tiny top end then kind of pull it out. Well ladies? That equals a broken nail. I have natural shortish nails and every time it was shocking. So even if I liked the shadow I’d never use the brush. It was for going on holiday to save packing brushes. It’s applicable by finger too.2. The lid! I’ve seen in some other low rated reviews others have had this issue too. The lid would not budge! I took off the plastic coating then tried twisting it for well over 10 minutes (even using a towel for grip). It would not open.I then thought maybe it’s a flip lid? Which would be a much better design so you don’t lose the lid if on the go. But no. That’s not working either. My trusty strong man then took over 10 minutes to finally twist it off! He twisted it back on for me to try and it wouldn’t budge again.So annoying beyond belief. Maybe some just get a bad batch where The Hulk was on the lid placement line at the factory?3. I got Praline which in the tub and in photos looks like a light brown/gold colour. Don’t be fooled. I have very light skin and it’s so faint I can’t hardly see it. It’s more like a neural tone with a bit of shimmer. Nothing like advertised. You can tell in my photos. The one with the lid on looks totally different to with lid off. I’m very pale and that tiny bit of sheen on my inner arm is from two little sweeps on the skin. If I wanted a sheer one I’d have bought one.4. Blends awfully (not at all). It’s patchy, so you don’t get a nice smooth even layer. I put it on bare skin as when I’m travelling I don’t want loads of eye primer on etc.I’ve used other cream based eyeshadows which went on fab on bare skin and stayed on. It looks really bad. NOTE: If going up towards your eyebrows it cakes into eyebrow hair and can be seen. That’s me with blonde eyebrows. If you have darker it would be awful.5. I’ve not been a fan of Revlon ever. I certainly am an anti-fan now. My go-to is Revolution for all my face makeup. At this price, for all the above reasons it’s a waste of money. I’m peeved as needed it to travel with and now about to go through returns/money back.I do not know why so many rave reviews exist. It seems like it’s hit or miss. It baffles me as even at 50 I have very smooth, even, crease free skin so it’s not like it’s patchy because my skin is not suitable.As a Top 1000 ranked reviewer. You’ll always get an honest and unbiased review from me. I do not review products sent for free to be reimbursed or paid to make up a five star review. Many of these reviews are all over Amazon.Revlon have failed on this one badly. Back to Revolution and some of my other go-to Cruelty Free brands.

Fab eyeshadows, I used them all last year, stay on all day and are great to wear if your going swimming as it stays on fab, crease free aswell, I haven’t worn them much over winter and just went to use them again but even with the lids on they have all dried up and are not like the creamy consistency they once were, so I have bought another x2 pots for this summer, would highly recommend

Very good consistency that blends easily with either your fingertip or the brush that's built into the lid. The colour is not really "caramel" in my opinion. It's closer to gold -- a very sheer and extremely shiny gold. I'll probably be saving this for evening wear rather than everyday.

Me compre 3 de estas sombras: praline, caramelo y chocolate (las 2 primeras shimmer y la ultima matte), la verdad me gustaron mucho, la matte es mi favorita y la que mas pigmenta. La consistencia de las sombras es muy suave casi como gel (no se explicarlo bien), pero si pones una sola capa de las shimmer si queda muy clara o sin pigmento, pero ya con 2 o 3 pasadas queda super bonita, sola o sobre cualquier otro tono de sombras, a mi en lo particular me duran todo el dia (insisto poniendo 2 o 3 capas). En la foto las muestro con una pasada y luego con 2, de izq a der: Praline, Chocolate & Caramelo. Precio $146 c/u; normalmente estan en $179, pero si esperas ponen alguna promo (las bajaron en 2 ocasiones en lo que las tenia en mi carrito y no me animaba a comprar jejeje

The colour is nice (chocolate), but doesn't have a lot of pigment. For a cream eyeshadow I also find it quite powdery, which is not great if you have dry eyes or dry eyelids. The biggest con though is that it is extremely difficult to blend evenly. I tried it on myself and on both my daughters and we all have different skin types. It didn't blend well on any of us. Would not recommend it.
