I had my brother assemble it for me since the reviews made it look a bit confusing. He didn’t report having any problems and it didn’t take him very long. I’m just starting to use it. The wheels do squeak, but that’s been my only concern. It seems to be cutting very well. Sure, I do go over the same spots more than once, but It’s not a big deal. It looks fine after just one pass. I’m just trying to cut off as much as possible, so it doesn’t get out of hand. I’ve found it to be rather therapeutic. I love the soft whirring sound it makes as opposed to a noisy gas mower. I can even mow at night and not worry about disturbing anyone. The lever for setting cutting height is fast and very easy to use and the whole mower is lightweight enough that I haven’t had any problems pushing it thus far (I’m a small female). The V handle design makes it easy to throw my weight into it if necessary. I almost had second thoughts about ordering this mower when I noticed mowers from American Lawn Mower Co. were slightly higher rated, but the box indicates this mower is distributed by them, too. All in all, I’ve been extremely pleased so far. Great, environment-friendly little mower!

Item arrived well packaged from the factory. If you have good reading comprehension, you will have no problem assembling this reel mower. I had to do some minor adjustments to the blade alignment before use for optimal cut performance. ***Do not skip the blade adjustment step before using the mower***After successfully testing the blades for cut performance using strips of paper, I took it outside to cut St. Augustine. Turf grass was cut evenly with scissor-like precision. Mow only when turf is dry. Need to cut at least every 4 days for best performance. Gives me a good workout as well. A small way of saving the planet since this mower does not emit harmful fumes. Absolutely better in many ways than the brand that rhymes with "Fish car". Buy it!

Very happy with this mower. It has a nice wide base, it cuts well, the tires make it easy to push. It is easy to adjust the height and there are enough height levels to choose from. The plastic pieceThat goes across the handles was squeaking so i took it off and it's nice and quiet now.

I should've known by the size and weight of the box! While I do appreciate the ecological factors, this thing is so heavy even my husband (who's a big guy) complained. Just not manageable in spite of the ergonomic handle.
