Works fast
I had a bad case of fungus gnats that were stunting the growth of my garden plants, but I did not want to use any pesticides. This was a natural solution, and the reviews seemed promising. They were right! This was so easy to use. I followed the directions to the T and poured generously on my plants. I wasn't expecting much, but the next morning, I came out, and the gnats were gone! It may be because I used it early before the problem had spread deeper, or if this product is a miracle worker, but I'm just happy that it got rid of those gnats. A little bit goes a long way, and I like the smell of them, like popcorn, strangely. This bag would probably last me a while if the gnats don't return, highly recommend buying.

Healthy indoor plants!!
I use these to stop bugs from laying eggs in the top soil of my indoor plants. I have had no problems with bugs since starting to use these. They will grow a bit of mold if left wet and uncovered on soil but if you add them to hot water, strain them out, and use that water to water your plants it is super effective while keeping the aesthetic of your plants looking nice. It has lasted me a long time and I still have a bunch left. I will by buying more when I run out

Price and if it works.
Well I'm on the 3rd gallon of watering my plants. I had to get the sticky traps to catch the adults. I'm hoping it settles down by the next watering. I have a ton of plants.

Mosquito-Free Nights at Last!
Absolutely worth it! This product does exactly what I needed—it got rid of the mosquitoes! I can finally sit outside and enjoy my porch in peace. I sprinkled it around the front porch and in areas where water tends to collect after it rains. Then I lightly misted everything with the hose. So far, so good—I’ve spent a few evenings outside and haven’t been bitten once. Highly recommend!

Works wonderfully for fungus gnats!
Get this product if you have fungus gnats in your plants! I have paid double the cost for a liquid solution to get rid of fungus gnats in my household plants but a friend recommended this produce which works just as well if not better! It does take 3-4 treatments (I did weekly) because it kills the larva whereas adult gnats are somewhat resistant. I also soaked the pellets in water for a full 24 hours before applying to plants. This solved the heaviest infestations I have ever had and my plants remain happy :-) Will definitely continue to use this in the future!

UNSURE of Results - PLEASE read entire review
First of all, many of the people reviewing and giving derogatory reviews may not have a good understanding of what they are up against, and it takes patience to REALLY get rid of the FUNGUS GNATS you are up against. I just did not have the positive results out of ONLY JUST THIS ONE PRODUCT. Having said all of that, DON'T DESPAIR. YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM.SEE THE FOLLOWING LINKS:http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7448.htmlhttp://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/insect/05584.htmlboth illustrate the life cycles of these little buggers - and I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH before making my purchases. AND I DO MEAN PURCHASES, plural. NO one thing will do, because you have to be prepared to fight them at ALL STAGES, and invest in more than a couple days..You need the Fungicide spray, or get the concentrate and mix 1 Tab with 1 quart in a CLEAN spray bottle. The instructions say 2-4 Tablespoons per gallon, but I didn't want to mix that much at one time, and I wanted to play it safe because someone said the straight concentrate killed their plant, but obviously they didn't read the instructions.I also tried the Insecticidal Soap from Garden Safe which only knocked them down on contact. Also, I used the Mosquito Bits by Summit, with questionable results, since they weren't gone after that, but they might have just hatched and re-deposited eggs. Even though there are good reviews for them, I’m not sure I would bother with them and just stick with the fungicide and flags. Right know, I'm trying some sliced potatoes just buried in the soil to check to see if the larvae are still active, so I know where I am in the cycle(s).You also need or at least it's nice to have the little yellow flags to see that you are catching them when they are flying. Believe me, they get into everything - your milk glass, soda, etc, and they showed up dead in piles under the night light on my end table lamp light that stays on at night. OH yes in your face and up your nose while you are on your computer, as they love CO2. I would rather have them fly into the yellow flags, but don't count on the 7 that come in the SAFETY Brand...oh don't get me wrong - they work great, but ONLY SEVEN!!!??? I'm not re-ordering that brand, I'm getting more from somewhere else. My 7 were LOADED, and I mean LOADED but this is only while they are in the already hatched phase and have laid god knows how many eggs that will hatch!!!! (by the way - the sand on the upper layer (the right kind) is a good idea, because it makes the gnats thin the soil is dried out, which is another in a list of remedies prescribed.OK...I know I'm getting long winded, but you have to understand that if you don't treat them in different ways at the same time repeatedly, you won't lick the evil little $%#%$.Repotting may help, too, but ONLY if you completely get rid of ALL the gnats flying in your house, ALL the spores in the pot (if you use it) and you buy good quality soil, and even then there is no guarantee they will not be present in either the soil, or the new plant.ANY WAY YOU GET THE IDEA. PLEASE READ the links. Don't give up and keep trying. GOOD LUCK!!

Soil gnats will disappear
Pros:I’ve tried many products to get rid of gnats living among my plants. This is the only thing that worked. Every month or two, I spray the top soil to prevent them from coming back (and I switched to bottom watering). Every new plant I bring home gets the treatment just to be sure. This works and plants appear just as healthy as before the spray.Cons:Soaking the bits, then straining them is inconvenient but once you’ve had the gnats, you’ll do anything
