My bird likes to sit on these perches. Nice grit to them, not too rough. I do have other perches, in the cage, of all different widths and materials, to include natural and rope. I recommend having a variety of perches, and, not to use these perches, solely, for it can irritate birds' feet, if it's the only perch offered. I do wish that the perches had more variation, in the widths, but, overall, I like them. My bird nibbles on the grit, without any issues, so far, and, she likes to trim her beak on them. My perches came in pink, purple, and green.

I purchased this because there was a photo of a conure on the perch. These perches are good for finches or parakeets, not green cheek conures.

Placed on outside of cage. Since my conure like to hop from place to place, I placed these on the outside of cage to play on and he likes them.

My parakeet is ok with these, but not as much as the older one I had. She really used the old one for her beak. It was a little thicker and shorter. I like that this is wood underneath, but it could have a thicker rough layer and I wish it were about an inch or so shorter. It is ok otherwise and will do the job.

Very disappointed!! They look decent in picture. Upon receiving them, I noticed right away the sand has already partially come off of the perches. I’m worried that my parakeets would ingest the sand and cause blockage in the intestine.
