Northbound Aluminum Cargo Carrier/Hauler (Large)

This is a great carrier! I was looking for a good, lightweight carrier that won't rust, but the bolted together carriers seemed to warp and twist with a load (not very rigid). This carrier was not cheap, but it works great and is rock solid. It is light and easy to install and remove, and works well on the back of my 4Runner. If you are hauling long distance and not removing it daily, I would recommend getting a hitch clamp that will keep it from rattling (not that it rattles much, but it will help stabilize your load as well) and a lockable hitch pin.

Worked to load and transport a 20 inch rear roto-tiller 1 mile in city round trip. I worried when loading the tiller via ramp from the side that the temporary asymmetric loading caused some rotation but it held, did not break or cause any permanent deformity. I am skeptical about the claimed 500 lb. rated capacity.

Fantastic cargo carrier. Fits great on 2014 Jeep Wrangler. This carrier only weighs 22 lbs.. I was quite surprised. Construction is solid and welds are great. Definitely recommend this carrier to maximize tongue weight.

Extremely well made. Easily held a bin with 2 bushels of oysters and 160 lbs of ice on the back of my 2013 Ford Escape. Highly recommend it.
