Softer thinner bigger pieces than normal, nice quality image
The all important image quality was good. I dislike puzzles where the image is hazzy and you have to kind of guess what color and image they are suppose to be. The art is also good. Its a bit different than others in the pieces are thinner and a bit softer and at the same time a little bigger than other quality puzzles. it is the type of pieces where the piece outlines are not flush with their interlocking neighbor, adding I guess a degree of complexity. All in all a good puzzle and a little different than ordinary which is a good thing in this case. I guess the other New Yorker cover puzzles will likely be equally good. I will try some more of them.

A challenge, but fun.
I think they are too expensive, but love the subject matter. Enough color to be fun, not easy, but never frustrating. Pieces fit together nicely. I've done three so far.

Favorite artist
Like all the whimsical drawings that Sempe has made. They make one smile and can remind one of experiences as a child.

Five Stars
It's an interesting and beautiful puzzle.I noticed some puzzles are really tense in content, and it would be easier for you to identify different objects and categorize pieces into different piles. But I somehow thought those puzzles contains too many information in one painting, thus not that elegant for me.Some puzzles are made from famous paintings, and some of those would have a large blank area with jigsaw pieces of similar shades. And it would be very difficult. So I think this puzzle is both beautiful, and not too easy nor too difficult. Very satisfied.

Fun puzzle, but....
A neat cover picture from The New Yorker magazine. Colorful. Puzzle pieces are thick, many varied shapes, and fit together well. ! There is no larger size poster of the picture which many puzzlecompanies do include. The picture on the box is partly covered by a black square. I googled the Dec 4, 2006New Yorker issue to see the full picture in larger size and detail.

As beautiful as people said and it is rare in puzzles
The New Yorker series seems to be a leader in puzzles. The quality of the print but mostly the interesting topics make them stand apart. For some reason, some leading puzzle manufacturers believe that people interested in puzzles have no visual taste and are interested in 'corny' esthetics with flashy colors. Luckily the New Yorker does not do this because it is based on their magazine covers. The pieces are also interesting because they vary a lot and fit perfectly. While there is a series, this one is my favorite and it is as nice as it shows on this website.

There are lots of discrete activities in this puzzle.
This puzzle was challenging, but I could work on another part of the puzzle when I got stuck. It looked so wonderful when I finished!!! I subscribe to the New Yorker, so I remember seeing the actual magazine with that cover.

DELIGHTFUL!!!
The colors in this puzzle are vivid, the caricatures are cute and funny. The pieces fit together well and are sturdy. The photo of this puzzle does not do it justice. The colors in this puzzle are warm and brilliant. I love this puzzle!
