Yummy Paws 8x10" Non Skid/Tip Premium Heavy Duty Large Dog Bowl Pet Feeding Food Water Dish Comes in Black Or Red

I bought this after reading the reviews saying that the dog bowl could not be pushed around. In the title they use the words "premium", "non-skid", and "heavy duty." The dog bowl seems to be well-made and the finish is good. The nonskid portion is the fact that it has a thin rubber ring around the outside edge where it touches the floor.That being said, the metal that it is made out of is very lightweight. This bowl is very lightweight and is easily pushed around my kitchen by a Bichon Frise that weighs 9 pounds. She is not even really trying to push the bowl around. She nudges it with her nose as she smells her food and it scoots right across the floor ( note: hardwood floors)This isn't a bad dog bowl for what it is, but if you were looking for something that is truly nonskid, this is not going to fit the bill. The people who have written reviews that say they have a large dog that cannot push this around, I would be very skeptical about the truthfulness of their reviews. Like I said, this bowl is extremely lightweight.I took off two stars for their liberal use of the words premium and heavy duty and nonskid. I hope you found this useful.

When I put the dish in the dishwasher as instructed, the paint chips off and there's rust type spots underneath. This has happened with three different versions I bought of this dish. Buying one without paint and just plain metal next time with a rubber bottom. I love the look, but not worth the worry of my dog getting paint flakes.

We have used the bowl for around 6 months and it already has rust spots at the bottom. And this dish was used for dry dog food. It says "rust resistant" but clearly that is not the case. I would never recommend this product to anyone in fear of their pet getting paint chips and rust in their body. I have read that others have had the same issue.

Rubber bottom wont stay on.

Unfortunately it's not completely non-skid. My rascal cat has still managed to get his paws under it and slide it all over the room, causing water to spill everywhere.

This is perfect for my Golden Retriever! He is a little on the messy side when it comes to eating. He is constantly pushing the bowl around the floor trying to get every, last drop. This Yummy Paws bowl is great, the rubberized bottom helps it stay in place so he can get everything out of the bowl without running through my whole kitchen with his regular bowl being pushed around, although it's cute to see him do it, I'm thrilled he can now stay in his area! I highly recommend this product. It's also very cute so you can't go wrong! I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
