Stuff actually works!
I have 3 dogs so keeping them flee-free can be expensive. (Over $150 a month with some brands.) I think I've tried nearly all the various flea treatments; dips, shampoos, organic non-toxic, aromatherapy oils, powders, etc. This K9 Advantix II works better than anything else I've tried. Within 24 hours of first application, no fleas! And no fleas for almost exactly 30 days. It seems to have a timer on it. I lost track of the date and didn't apply 2nd dose until I found a flea, checked the calendar and it was 33 days since 1st treatment. After 3 months of on-time dosage, no fleas on the dogs, no fleas in the house, and they don't bring any in from outside so the repellant is also working. I was reluctant to use what is essentially poison on my small dogs, but as nothing else was working and we were all miserable, I had no choice but to try this. I am happy to say they haven't shown any ill affects at all from 3 months of treatment and we are all much more comfortable.

One of the best preventative products on the market
I have had 3 rescue dogs in the past & have used this one after trying many other products, I have now adopted my 4th dog after my last one died & immediately ordered this product from Amazon. In the past I have tried other flea & tick topicals but, they did not seem to work so well as I live in the south where the season for these bugs never stops. I also tried a prescription pill with my prior dog that combined heartworm preventative with flea & tick medication that was supposed to last 3 months. My dog went into a seizure after 2 days & I had to stop using it & see a vet. Apparently, there was so many toxins in the pill form that it caused severe reactions. I looked up what others had to say about the combination pill form & found out that some dogs died of it or caused so much internal damage that some dogs organs were forever damaged. So, i had to go back to this topical. This product does not have a smell like others do & it seems to work the best. Each environment & dog is different so, its what your vet recommends & what you see that works best for your dog.
