JETech Case for iPad Air 1st Edition (NOT for iPad Air 2/3/4/5), 9.7 Inch, Smart Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep (Dark Grey)

Apple quickly drop accessories for older products, limiting you to one colour before dropping accessories completely. My issue is that after market products generally fall short on quality by a big margin, going for cheap instead of good quality. Something decent for a reasonable price seems elusive. Until now!This item seems to manage both, which is pretty rare. There are only two (very) slight criticisms; the home button end is a complete cut-out rather than offering total coverage around the lightening connector, and it does take quite a bit of pressure to get it in (and out).Other than those very minor gripes, this item would be easy to mistake for something costing 2-2.5x the price. The finish, cutouts and cover lining are all excellent. I couldn't be happier at this price.

Only adequate really - fits well but if you compare this to something like the invision cases - whilst the design is similar the quality is nothing like as good (and the price is the same!) There is no flocking at all in the rear tray in which the iPad sits, the cover is thin and plasticky and the red one that we ordered was either cracked on the corner when it arrived or broke as we put the iPad into it. As the grey version went in no trouble I suspect that the case was already cracked. It doesn't say much for it's protective qualities! I kept this grey one only because I like the design which is slim and easy to stand up to read the screen or watch films - and Invision who use the same design don't seem to have yet brought one out to fit the iPad 5. You can bet that when they do I'll be buying theirs and putting this lesser version in the bin! Sorry guys - it needs improving to reach anything close to their standard. At the moment it's a poor copy.

I love the soft-feel matt finish. I don’t think I have unduly greasy fingers but this case does seem prone to finger marks, although they do come off with a rub from a barely damp cloth. The dark grey case is compact with a very smart appearance and secure fit. Everything lines up perfectly and the sleep/wake function works a treat. I’ve only had it a few days so I can’t comment on its durability but it seems well-made and sturdy enough to do the job. Excellent value for the money and, so far, I’m very pleased. Far superior to the one I had before.

Good case, no real problems with it. It’s a secure fit and does prop up nicely in landscape for app viewing e.g. Sky Sports.One minor point is that the back does collect and show greasy fingerprints. But it’s only me that uses it so I’m fine with that. Can appreciate others may not be.

I have been looking for a replacement for my ipad cover for absolutely ages. Writing in the model number did help and I was absolutely delighted with the JTech case that I received. I have no idea about the durability of this case YET as I have only been using it for a couple of weeks but it appears to do exactly what it claims and it is a perfect fit. . I am about to order another one as I love the choice of colours they have . Might I say also, that it appears better than the Apple one that I previously had........ and cost a lot less. Thankyou JTech brilliant product.
