Oxo Steel Winged Corkscrew With Removable Foil Cutter, One size

Opens wine bottles with ease and does not ruin corks which for me is important as I am collecting them. To remove corks from the opener once the bottle is open simply screw in reverse and it pops out.

Maybe it's my lack of experience with this style of corkscrew...(or maybe it's the wine!)...but this has to be the largest corkscrew of this variety I've ever used! You have to be careful when you screw into the cork that you don't go too far down below the cork or it may be hard to remove the cork from this gadget once you've opened the bottle! Other than that, works as expected.

Pros: big corkscrew easy to use. The foil cutter works very well.Cons: Flimsy plastic material. The black case is so small inside that the bottle gets stuck. Additionally I could only use once. The casing is so long and tigh that it’s very awkward to remove the cork from the screw (pictures included).

So glad I decided to go with this model, made life so much easier to open bottles and the darn wrapper on the top of the bottle, smart!
