Loosen your kingpin and remove it and the hanger, leaving your baseplate on the board.Remove the hardware nuts and washers and slide the Nosejob through the screws.Slide the Nosejob as far forward as it will go.Put the washers and nuts back on and tighten firmly (not excessively).Complete the assemble with the hanger, kingpin, and bushings, and you are ready to go.After an impact to the Nosejob:Notice if the Nosejob has slid back a bit through the hole slots.If so, simply loosen the hardware nuts a bit and slide the Nosejob forward again.Re-tighten the nuts and you are ready again. Does the Job and protects your board upon impact.
I love this nose guard. I ordered my first pair back in 2008 and I've had it on the same board ever since. The board that it's on, I use for commuting through town daily and has taken many hits to the nose and the guard has always done it's job. It wasn't until about a year ago where one of the guards was seriously damaged where it cracked near the screws were and it wasn't until recently where the cracked completely tore off one of the nose guards from another impact it took, which has led me to now buying another pair. When I searched on amazon for the product and saw that it had one star, I felt like it need a fair shake and an understanding of what it's made for which is why I'm writing this review. This is a great product but it's not an indestructible one. And your better off breaking a $16 nose guard then breaking your board specially if your board cost a few hundred dollars.Pros:- It does the job. It protects your board from high impact by absorbing the force and spreading it through out the nose guard instead of board.Cons:- They should put padding on the top side of the nose guard where the guard and board meet so there isn' a lot of t friction between it. Fortunately this is an easy fix and you can buy some adhesive padding for like $10 on amazon.- I wish it was made with softer rubbery plastic so that it could withstand more force and is less likely to crack upon impact but then again that's what it's job is.I highly recommend I this

Good product
The product is really well made. It just didn't fit on my board. It was worth the try. The only negative thing I can say about this is that it is a bit expensive for only one guard. All and all the return was quick and easy.
