These plates were used for my 60th party at home, where I wanted 'nice' plates, a little dressier than the norm. All the guests commented how pretty they were, and some did not believe that I wanted them disposed of, and not washed and reused. If it weren't my birthday, which is the time I do not wash any dishes, I may have been tempted to save them. They are a hard, solid plastic, and when you pick them up you have no fear of them collapsing. Of course, not as heavy as bone China, which surprised people as they picked the up to get to the buffet. They were thin only in as much as fine china is thin, which I think, adds to the charm. They looked very nice on the table, and people stood and held them to eat from if there wasn't a seat available - not a spill or mishap all night. We used them for finger and fork foods, not knives, but I'd imagine at table, these would hold up well. I had no problem with the silver chipping off, as I had read in comments happened sometimes, but I only used these once and recycled. I have some leftover, and I'm going to try them in the dishwasher, just to see how they hold up there. People had seen the round version of these kind of plates before, but with the scallop, they were that much prettier, which is what led people to ask, "Are you SURE you want these thrown away?". They were perfect for my party, and had the strength and look I was hoping for. I'd buy these again, and am anxious to try a different pattern for my next get together!

Describing these plates as disposable is a disservice. They are are beautiful and elegant. I don’t have enough “real” chinaware to serve a crowd but I wanted something nice for the holidays. I set up a sample place setting to see how it would look. My husband walked in a said “Wow! You got new china! How much did that set me back?" They go very nicely with my Lenox flatware too. Some crack but if you handle them gently they are reusable. I think these will last for a couple years. Very Happy!

Lovely, some were chipped on large plates, otherwise just what we needed for Easter tables.

These plates were nice looking and sturdy. They came in individual boxes of twenty that allowed for easy carrying.

I love the plastic plates! I received a ton of compliments at my party! Everyone all agreed very nice looking for not being real china. I set a beautiful table with these plates! Will Buy them again!

I bought 2 sets for a party. When the boxes arrived, the plates were shrink-wrapped inside of them. The top plates looked good. On the day before the party, we opened the packages to set the tables. Almost all the small plates had a dark triangle on them, not cleanable but part of the plastic material. Some of the large plates had flaws that looked like dark spots, again in the plastic. It made them look dirty/used. It was too late to replace them, so we lived with them. I will not order them again!

Bought these for a bridal shower. They were perfect! Great quality and looked elegant with the decor.

We were hosting a Valentines banquet for 70 people and wanted something more than regular paper plates and I am glad we found these. They are bright, strong and pleasantly well made. While there is no mistaking them for china, they are very attractive and should survive several trips to the buffet table.

Very pretty, but thin, not sure how much support they will be for self serve. however they look great on table.

Plates were of poor quality with lumps and scratches on the surfaces. Also not as "heavyweight" as you would expect them to be. I would not put these in front of my guests, and have returned for a refund.
