Will this stopper work on wine bottles as well?

We do not recommend using the stopper on still wine bottles. The stopper was designed specifically for sparkling wine bottles and using it on a still wine bottle may damage the stopper. One of the main reasons for this is that the neck of a still wine bottle is different than that of a sparkling wine bottle.

How long can this product be used?

I've had mine for several months and the mechanism still works fine, if you're asking about how long the product itself retains its clamping mechanism. If you're asking how long it keeps champagne fizzy, I've used it for just under a week at a time on the same bottle and it worked great. Still fizzy.

Does this work on 1.5 liter a magnum bottles? specifically the 1.5l magnum bottles of cooks from costco?

The clip portion fits over the neck of a 1.5 L wine bottle. It should work if the inner diameter of the bottle neck can accommodate the plastic stopper which is approximately 3/4" diameter. I do know it works wonderfully on champagne bottles.
