After reading bad reviews, I was hesistant to buy it. But took a chance...and am glad I did. It really helped my bedridden dad pass stools. Sitting really helps ! This chair serves it purpose. Make sure the pan is washed with soapy dettol water daily and the bench is wiped with disinfecting wipes to maintain hygiene. We put a pillow behind my dad for back support, as this chair doesnt have good lower back support.

Waste it's not a stainless steel...highly corrosive paint over it doesn't protect the chair from water ..don't buy

i bought this for my ailing mother (80 years) after infection of COVID19, she was unable to sit for stools due to severe pains in legs and backshe now is comfortable to discharge waste easily chair is good heavy material used sturdy good grip and all fittings are done appropriately , commode bowl is made good plasticonly problem is the back rest is not sturdy its loose and comes forward though i tightened nuts and bolts
