I want to add that I am in awe of your detailed research with Marilyn Monroe, The Private Life of a Public Icon.Once again today as I was reviewing your Notes and Bibliography it struck me how precise you were with dates, interviews and statistical information. Your writing flowed throughout the book. I strongly feel this was your tribute of love to Marilyn. She would of been so proud with the knowledge that someone cared enough to really see beyond her fragility and mental state and did what you remarkably did to set the record straight with true respect. I commend you for that. I have praise for your work. I also want to say kudos on your utube and television interviews. You are a true heart. An excellent and at times sad account yet again of Marilyn Monroe. Plagued by personal demons all her life, not given credit for how truly smart and talented she was, and used by a system that saw her more as a money making machine than a person. She really wanted so little even though to the world she seemed to have so much. She deserved more.

Good book. Interesting and easy to read.

Read this after reading Mariah’s Autobiography where she talks about Marilyn a lot. Firstly There’s are a few (deliberate) negative reviews on her about this book which seems to be common now on amazon but please don’t let this put you off. The book is a great read from start to finish and really brings her back to life once more. Of course everyone has there own version of Marilyn’s story to tell (or anyone else’s for that mater), that’s what made her so fascinating, so I don’t think you can go wrong with this one, especially if you know very little about the Blond bombshell already. Great read
