Blessing's Gourmet Lory Nectar (2Lb)

My lori LOVES this product. He has devoured it up everyday since we received it. I am a convert. This is our new food supplier for sure!Update 1/15/23: I have been feeding my lory this food for 2 years now. I also had an orange dusky for a bit that loved it. I recommend this food to every customer who comes in the pet store I manage who has or purchases a lory. 10/10 the best lory food on the market.

My Lori easily transitioned from another brand. I love the natural ingredients. It even smells fruitier, like a berry cereal.

I've had Lories for approx. 15 years, and in that time I always used Blessings Nectar. I chose it for the diverse ingredients. A little over a year ago the nectar changed. When you add water the nectar used to remain dissolved for a good while and the color was white. You could realistically go 6 hours without replacing it on a relatively cool day. The new nectar has a beige color when water is added and it separates a lot faster. And when it does separate its of an unappealing goo consistency. I've had to remove the nectar from my Lories cages after about an hour, which is just not cost effective. At this point I am looking into other options, and I may have to switch over to just powder, though I am of the belief that the nectar is best for their digestive systems.

I have an 18 year old Lorikeet that has lived with me for the last 12 years. He loves his nectar, and Blessings is his favorite, frequently even more than his “pollen” and fresh fruit. He’s healthy, and full of play, making me laugh every day.

My parrot has been raised on this nectar. Along with his daily treats. He has learned to say my wife name then "treat treat". But the parrot food is the basis for his daily diet.

Arrived before scheduled time & I was delighted. Lory Nectar is as advertised. No problems at all. Would recommend.
