Good
Lighter in color, leather doesn’t seem as strong as the Sorrels I’ve boughten in past fur is good quality. Comfort, fits size it should. Super Snow proof, great grip. Rubber insole really lasts.

boot liner too small, runs short in the toes
I really liked these boots, but they do run short. I wear a size 9 and the size 9.5 ran short in the toes. The boot liner actually runs shorter in the toes than the actual boot by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.I have a pair of the Sorel Tofino boots in a size 9.5 and have plenty of room for my toes but they do not have a liner. So these actually fit shorter in the toes b/c of the liner, but are wider in the foot.I wanted something a bit heavier and warmer than the Tofino's, so thought to try these. But since they run short in the toes, order at least a full size up!Also I compared these to an older pair of Sorel short boots with a removable liner, and found: the outer rubber on the older Sorel boots was thicker, and the inner liner was thicker and provided more warmth. To compare further, I put one of the Sorel Tofino boots on one foot (size 9.5), and one of these Sorel Joan of Artic boots on the other foot (size 9.5) and not only was this boot shorter and wider, but both boots provided basically the same level of warmth: and the Sorel Tofino boots do not have a removable liner. So I was disappointed that the Sorel Joan of Artic winter boots had thinner rubber on the outside of the foot, and a thinner interior liner than some older styles; and did not provide as much warmth. While they look very attractive, they only seem to offer warmth for milder winter conditions, and not for extreme cold like the older Sorel boots with removable liners. Very sorry about this, Sorel!

Good deep snow boots.
These boots are roomy with flat insoles. I have flat feet so they work for me, but if you are used to an arch support, these do not have one. They are roomy, so if your feet are slender you will need to synch up the laces. They are warm, light and comfortable. Your quintessential Sorel boot.My size for boots and athletic shoes is an 8.5 and this is what I bought. I did try an 8, too short and the 9 certainly too big.

Not bad...but could use improvement
Went with a half size & they fit, however, if you plan on wearing thick socks or layers go up a size. Not much arch support but good for everyday walking. I live in Missouri where our winters are all over the place, did well keeping feet warm but when wind hit my toes started to get cold. These boots are good if you don't have frequent long winters with snow. Good traction but I wouldn't use them for hiking as they are lunky & heavy. Overall not bad boots.

Very Warm, but maybe Order Up One Size
I rarely order online because of fit. I gave the product "fit as expected" at the ordered one-size-up size which is a size 10 from size 9. Let me explain: I'm 5'6" at 163lbs. My feet are a tiny bit on the wide side with a low arch. I ordered both a 9.5 and a 10 at the same time. My normal size is 9. Knowing that I would want to where a wicking sock + a wool sock OR 1 super thick pair of thermal socks I thought the 9.5 (half-size up) would work. After wearing around the house, I noticed the 9.5 was making my feet slightly tingle/numb, particularily around the area where the rubber meets the leather on top of the foot and an area that I knew might not "stretch" over time. Plus, because of the thickness of the sock, my toe felt closer to the boot toe end. The 10 had a comfortable bit of room even after the 2 socks or 1 thick sock was added and did not make my feet tingle/numb. Even though they may look just a tad bigger then I am used to, I decided comfort was best in this case. They are on the heavy side for a snow boot (expected for rubber, leather, and felt) , but I am hippy with toned calves so I considered the extra weight a bit of exercise as I walk! The Honest Beige color is a beautiful soft yet warm camel color (fawn-like), not a dark camel. The inner felt is SO warm and cozy, even with a thin pair of socks. The laces are a breeze to tighten and loosen as they slide on the metal grommets though I don't suspect they are waterproof laces. The fur was a little flat when they arrived but just needed fluffed. The rubber is a very, very dark navy I think, almost so that it looks black. The tread will be nice for snowy walking but I did slide a bit on the ice on my driveway since the lug is rubber and not very deep like a hiking boot might be.

I wanted these for years and finally pulled the trigger! So happy I did!
Exactly what I expected. They are a little taller than mid calf , very warm and super comfy. A little hard to drive in, but otherwise great!

So comfortable
These boots are exactly like my other ones that were the 1967 type that I've had for over 10 years. I absolutely love the color too - so creamy white. Not sure why others said they hurt unless they were the wrong size but I love mine. I'm a true sorel boot girl (7 pairs now!...addictive maybe)

Fits small
These boots are wide and clunky, which wasn’t my style. They look cute from the ankle up though. Just like other Sorel boots, they fit small so size up.

Fel stövel & 7 nummer för stora...
Fin stöven men mycket besviken att jag fick en herrstövel i storlek 46 när jag hade beställt en damstövel I storlek 39!Uppenbarligen ingen koll på lager & logistik ☹
