This collar is really durable. I purchased one about a year ago for my Anatolian Shepard. I also have a Jack mix. They are both synced up to the same remote so I only have to carry one remote. I just purchased another e collar since the two pups play so hard the Shepard wore out the nylon collar. These two pups wrestle relentlessly all day and the e collar still functions like it’s new!! It also holds a charge for days without recharging. The pups do not mind the collar and have been trained to listen for the beep to correct unwanted behavior. If you want to spend the time to train a dog out of unwanted behavior, this is hands down the collar for you. It’s strong, holds a charge for days, and can sync up two collars so you only carry one remote. There’s also a built in flash light that has come in handy more times than I can count. And I almost forgot the belt clip…. Never thought I’d use it but it’s so handy when I’m busy in the yard, I just clip the remote to my belt or jeans to free up my hands and it stays put. The collar is a great value for the price.

I bought one of these for my 80-pound, athletic mutt who has a really strong chase instinct and had killed some of my chickens.It's done a pretty good job at keeping her from chasing and she's quickly losing interest in chickens.A year later, I bought another one for my Puggle, as he's a stubborn little twerp and fond of wandering off after any random stranger or thing that catches his eye, so if he gets loose we might just not see him for a while. Can't have that, so I bought a second set for him.Today, I contacted TBI Pro in regards to the battery in the remote starting to fail, though it's only a few months old (because sometimes batteries just fail).Within moments, I had a response offering to send me a new remote. I don't know that I've every had such speedy customer service response to resolve an issue so quickly.Very impressive!

Compared to higher-end remote collars, this one is not powerful enough for a GSD puppy. I tested the static shock on myself in multiples of 10 from 10 to 100, with and without the silicone caps. I barely felt it at 30, and 80-100 didn't bother me at all. The beep, vibrate and static shock worked just fine in the house, but, it was completely useless offleash in a rural setting (I.e. field, wooded area, etc). I had a more expensive dogtra collar that got my attention at a 30 level, and very uncomfortable past 60. It is a nice remote collar that's weatherproof and rechargeable, but not for a breed with a high prey drive. I'm not returning it, so I'll just gift it to someone with a smaller dog.

I appreciate the that it's light weight and it reaches long distances. We had issues with fabric collar sliding loose and had to use the plastic collar. We do have to have it quite high for our 15 pound dog to feel.. Good for the price.

Product works great for the first 6 months but now it only beeps and vibrates the shock doesn't do anything. It's testing like it's working lighting up the light but when I put my fingers on it it does nothing even on 100%. Back when it was working it would light my fingers up around 15%.
