I purchased this product for my 78-year old father who loves to go on daily walks around his spacious, nature-like neighborhood. In most cases he is not able to view certain sights clearly, so this has been the perfect gift to help him view objects with a sharper focus. He often comments on how nice it is to be able to see sights more clearly. It's also been helpful for simple tasks. For example, he needed his license plate number to complete a form and he was able to use this monocular from the front porch instead of having to walk to his car. I'm sure he'll find other uses for as time goes on!

My husband puts this in his work bag with his laser pointer so he can view and point out things that need to be fixed up high while staying on the ground. It works very well for his application and he loves the fact that it is easy to carry.

Had to send it back..this thing has an embarrassing range. Ive seen kids toys with better functionality.
