It’s not easy finding a whole food, clean vitamin c in tablet form. I prefer a powdered whole food C overall, but when I’m traveling this is much more convenient. I like that even the “other” ingredients in this are items I recognize to help form the tablet. Each one is very small and easy to swallow. I have to say that I’m a bit sensitive to rancid smells, and my first bottle had that but not the second bottle. Maybe it’s just the nature of amla in such a pure form. I do wish this was a higher mg of C or that there were more in the bottle, but I do recognize that the whole food form is more absorbable in the body.

I am glad I got the vitamin C at the buy one, get two free deal. I trust the Truvani ingredients are quality ingredients and are safe. The tablets are round and a little big, but not too hard to swallow. It has gotten stuck a couple times in the back of my mouth/throat because I usually take my supplements all together in one big gulp with water and the rest of the pills went down but this tablet did not. I just take it separately and it is easy to swallow. The only thing I wished I had known was that the tablets are only 125mg of vitamin C so I have to take a few a day. I try to supplement with 1000mg to 2000 mg of C a day, especially in the winter time to help support my immune system.

I have been taking this whole-food form of vitamin c for a couple of months now, and it definitely seems to have provided an immune boost. The pills are easy to swallow and very nearly tasteless. I’ve been exposed to sick toddlers repeatedly since taking this product, but haven’t gotten sick! Best of all, though, is that I gave a bottle to my elderly father when he was coming down with an upper respiratory infection, and it knocked the URI out in a couple of days. Whole food vitamin c is an important nutrient, especially in winter as we are right now, and this is far superior to typical store-bought ascorbic acid.
