Informative. Simple reading. Good quality. But the price bit high.

This book is an award winning non-fiction book written for young readers, but perfect for adults who want to learn a little about the Hoover Dam. Sometimes, information presented simply, and with pictures, just gives the basic background about a topic that is needed. We had just visited the Hoover Dam and it was fascinating. My husband had a few other questions, so I ordered this book. It is great, because it has some primary source pictures, some colored drawings, and the writing is basic, but gives a lot of details.

Excellent, informative book. Used it with my homebound students, but my husband enjoyed it as well! This destination has been added to our bucket list!
