Best tool in the toolbox.
This is one of my favorite tools I own. I carry these every day at work and have used them countless times. I love the adjustability of these wrenches. The push button design ensures they stay at the size you set them to, unlike a crescent wrench. They allow you to get a tight grip on any bolt. Knipex has some of the best build quality you will ever see. This is a wrench you will be able to pass down to your kids. 10/10

Better than crescent wrenches
These are great. They work so much better than crescent wrenches. They grip the nuts harder, don't mar the hardware and are faster than crescent wrenches because you open and close them like pliers so it is easier and faster to take them off of and put them back on a nut. The big one is good for all manner of household stuff, and the little one is good for most household stuff while being fun to carry around in your pocket ^_^

Typical Knipex Quality
Both pair of pliers are of very high quality, typical of Knipex tools. Ergonomic and useful, both pair are handy within their given size ranges. I like that Knipex started making these pliers with flat parallel jaws, my older Cobra pliers have really sharp teeth that easily damage smooth finishes. After using these pliers a few times, you will find yourself reaching for these first before trying the old style adjustable wrench. As others have mentioned, the smaller 5" pair of pliers might be too small for some expectations, but they still prove to be very useful where you only need to turn something a few times or in tight spaces where it's just too cumbersome to use a larger wrench. The jaw opening is generous, larger than you'd expect. The profile of the jaws is thin also, a benefit some might overlook, proving useful in certain circumstances. They fit into the pocket much easier than the larger pair. There are no size graduation markings like the larger pair have. I have included a few pictures of me holding these in my average sized hand to show you how the size so you can decide for yourself if these are what you are looking for.The larger 7" pair are the more typical standard/expected size of pliers. There are size graduation markings on both sides, one side in metric and the other side in inch. If you were to buy one pair of pliers from Knipex to start your collection, this would be the size I recommend you start with.I have noticed within the Cobra line that Knipex will sometimes make changes or improvements to their pliers without changing the part number. They appear to do this in their Pliers Wrench line also. I do not like that they use the same part number when doing this, but functionally, there is not much change in the pliers themselves.

Great kit and price.
Getting the tools separately would've cost me as much as a tool alone. Great kit if you don't already have these pliers wrenches in these sizes. Good value.I oiled the joints before stowing them away. These are heirloom tools if taken care of.

Nice little pliers wrench set
As others have stated, the 5” is kind of small. I needed a small pliers/wrench set for work that I could carry in the pocket. The 5” is perfect for that. The 7 1/4 would work too, but the 5” is about perfect for pocket carry, so you have something that will take care of some smaller bolts/nuts without having to search tool boxes. The 7 1/4 is great for larger jobs. The 5” is small, but opens to a generous 7/8” or 23mm. The 7 1/4 opens quite a bit more at 1 1/2” or 40mm.The 7 1/4 has the scale for metric and inch printed on either side. The 5” doesn’t have a scale on it. Both seem to be very high quality. They were a bit expensive, but I feel they are quality tools and worth the money.

Great Buy!
The smooth jaws make quick work of any bolt heads it encounters. Plus the low profile jaws of the smaller set can slip into any tight space and crank out results. Knipex delivers again with great quality in tools and consistent results. Definitely worth the money.

Tiny profile - Useful power!
I just received my Knipex "2 Piece Mini Pliers Wrench Set"... and I'm pretty happy with 'em. I expect I'll only feel better after they've given me years of trusty service. I've had a relatively small size Knipex "Cobra" pliers for years - it has served me well in a motorcycle tool kit, where size and weight are critical. While I was awaiting their arrival, I read some of the customer reviews. The primary complaint seems to be the diminutive size of the smaller ("5 inch") pliers. As I read, I wondered whether they would be useful, or just a cute gimmick. (I figured if the mini set looked inadequate, I'd send the set back... after all, Knipex tools are NOT cheap!) They ARE small... but I declare they're still very functional! I've attached a photo - the eagle came off my flagpole last night during a windstorm. That's a 3/4-inch locknut that the 5-inch mini pliers are wrapped around. My open-end wrench set doesn't have a big enough wrench for the job, but the mini pliers worked fine! Obviously they're not going to fill in for a 12-inch adjustable wrench with a 2-foot "helper pipe," but don't let the size fool you - they ARE useful! Think of that small one as the "Noisy Cricket" of pliers...
