I have this sitting in front of me now (at work), and looking more closely than I had before, the craftmanship and attention to detail are astounding for something in this price range (I've seen comparable statures for 2-3x the price).It really is a lovely piece, with several Chinese symbols legibly carved in several areas. Upon examination of Buddha's face, even the teeth and tongue are defined and well proportioned. I rarely endorse items at 5 stars, but you WILL love this, and I hope come Christmas they're still selling for the same price so I can gift them to my Zen friends :)Thank you seller, for proving beautiful Buddhist statues at affordable price points do exist.

I really like it. After reading some of the comments about it I was surprised that it is actually what I was looking for. Just the right size for where I have placed it. Would recommend if you are looking for a small one.
