Operates pretty much as expected
To be honest I wasn't expecting miracles. I purchased it purely as a cheap directional antenna so that I could concentrate a beam from one of the radios on my router in one direction (to reach into the garden). Essentially his is not an active signal booster or extender it simply directs the signal so that all the energy is in one direction rather than 50% going into the neighbour's house etc.In my case (based on very unscientific measurements using a phone app) I'd say that the signal way about 25% stronger in the beam and significantly weaker outside of it - which was what I was after. I did find however that this was restricted to the 2.4Ghz band and I got little or no improvement with 5Ghz (although it did make it directional of course).I note that the price has now gone up. I'm OK with having paid Β£11.50 but Β£15 is probably stretching it a bit. There obviously becomes a point where a wifi extender or active antenna becomes a far more sensible investment, especially if your router has multiple radios. In my case I only needed to direct one signal and things would have been slightly different if I needed to do all three (Β£45 will get you a decent extender).

Stable, range, speed.... all you want in your WiFi signal
I built my own pc and got my self a pci tp-link WiFi card. I had the original antennas with it x2. I always try to connect to the 5GHz WiFi channel as you get a lot more speed to it. I noticed when I was swatching channels I was only getting 1 bar for a signal which is really bad, I always had to connect back to the 2GHz! So I bought myself this and boy let me tell ya, I can get on my 5GHz noooo problem and I get my full download speed now from my hub :) I highly recommend this! I have this and 1 original antenna and thatβs all I needed was 1. Iβm gonna buy another in the future to double my range even more ;)

Significant power increase
Already have an Alfa 14dbi antenna which is 8β x 8β (300mm 300mm), and i was running at 57% stable wifi connection, replace it with this antenna and got 53% and stable, this is 1/3 of the size β2.5β x 4.5β (60mmx 120mm) . It not strict science the test, but the stability and speed was the same , will be buying more, as this one is worth every penny. I only purchased from amazon so have no issue surrounding the nightmare amazon car boot sale set up, of ebay sellers. Hope this was some help to you. Great product purchased via Amazon.

Early signs are good
Just screwed it onto the back of my TP-Link router and seen a doubling of the signal strength. I wanted a 5GHz signal through 3 walls and across 7 meters into an adjacent room (past a staircase). Before fitting this i was getting around 25% strength according to the TV - resulting in the odd buffer and drop out while watching 4K films on Prime. Now boosted to 50% strength and no problems so far - not a glitch.I also made sure my neighbour had their router's 5Ghz channel set to a different number compared to mine..(it does help - don't leave it on "Auto")Happy? - You bet.

Very disappointing
I bought these to improve the 50-60mbps I was getting from my TP-Link MR600.After fitting to my router in the exact same location, I had no signal at all. After much adjustment, I finally got one bar on my router and a speed test of 20mbps.Obviously, I replaced my stick antennas and sent these back. They feel very cheap.
