MarshallMG15CFX 15 Watt Guitar Amp with Effects Carbon Fibre Finish

I previously had a Fender Frontman 15W amp but wanted something with a few more features as the Fender is a fairly modest amp and so went for this Marshall. Straight away I was really impressed with the amp. It looks and feels much better than the Fender, but the sound is so much nicer.The clean tone is very nice with a warm sound to it. The effects can be a little awkward to use at first, as you roll the knob around to increase the effect, but go too far and you're into the next effect instead, but you soon get used to this and the way it works starts to make sense. It's a shame you can't mix the effects, e.g. have chorus and delay at the same time, but for this price point I wouldn't knock off a star for this as even on their own the effects are really nice.It took me a little bit of working out what's going on with the channels but soon got the idea.The four 'channels' it comes with are clean, crunch, OD1 and OD2 (OD for overdrive). These are preset with various tone, gain and effects amounts, so when you press one, it goes straight into that setup, regardless of what the dials on the front are set to. e.g. you could have gain set to max, but go into clean mode and it will remove the gain. Move any of the dials and it then goes into 'manual' mode and you can tailor the sound you want (the channel light will flash to show it's now not in the original setup). This was odd at first but makes sense once you understand it.Find a sound you like and you can then press the 'store' button to replace the setup in that channel with this new sound. Then everytime you go into this channel it will go straight to this setup again without needing to remember where you left the dials. After a few sessions I found this a really good system and like how it's easy to make 4 personal setups, although the preset factory versions are really nice anyway actually going from a nice warm clean sound with a tiny amount of chorus, all the way to a full gain shredding setup.The volume is good for a 15W amp. It's a practice amp at the end of the day so it's not meant to go to ear shattering levels. Overall I'm really pleased with this amp and think it's definitely worth the money.

A Marshall at this price! The sound quality is amazing. Everything just works, the plug is not Indian so you will need an adapter. But, barring that, everything else is perfect. Really good crunch tones, 2 overdrive channels to give you all the sounds you need. Great effects too! Just go for it if you have the budget. Always go for a better amplifier than an expensive guitar.All the best!

Wunderbarer kleiner Verstärker mit vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten. Und wenn es zu laut wird, so kann man auf den super Kopfhörerausgang wechseln.Die Effekte sind einfach zu bedienen. Das teifft auf alles am Amp zu.Der Sound ist für die 15W auch super. Wer besseren Sound will, der kauft einen Amp mit ca 100W und Röhre. Für das Wohnzimmer absolut ausreichend.

This amp is a surprising delight. I love the sound, size, versatility, range of capabilities, and the cost. Well done Marshall. I had heard that Marshall was going downhill, but no evidence of that here. On my own or with friends, it has performed as well as I could hope. And it is quite loud enough for practicing, and even my sister's birthday party - the guitar notes were separated out clearly and pleasingly. There are still more things to learn as I go, given all the effects and other choices that are available. I am also looking forward to working with the pedal that I picked up at the same time.

Considero il prodotto di buona costruzione; il design è elegante con la trama in carbonio che lo rende moderno...non è molto ingombrante è svolge bene il suo lavoro...va considerato come un ampli economico, ma con le garanzie e l'affidabilità di un marchio che è nella storia della musica...lo consiglio per un uso domestico e a tutti quelli che non hanno grosse pretese...ottimo per i principianti.
