StopTech309.09610 Sport Brake Pads with Shims and Hardware

Great set of pads with very good initial bite. Only downside is they do dust a lot. I bought these to replace a low dust carbon/ceramic pad which work good but unfortunately they produced a loud squeal that never went away. These pads cured that!

Easy installation, I was able to install both front and back brakes with a friend in just under two hours. So far, the initial bite inst super hard but they stop you on a dime when you need them too. They are still pretty smooth though which is great. I installed these on my 2011 STi hatch

Good and cheap brake pads. I took away 1 star because these do then to dust a lot as well as the occasional squeak. They also come with a thin rubber-like material on the back side of the brake pad that acts as a shim if you don't have one. Would have liked if they came with some brake grease.Vehicle: 2009 WRX with STI brake calipers.

Excellent Brake Pads!!! I replaced my stock brake pads on my 2015 Subaru WRX STI with these Stoptech Sports and they are awesome; smooth braking and no noise. Definitely get these pads over your standard OEM brake pads

Amazon are you listening? Amazon lists the Stop Tech 309.09610 as a direct fit replacement for stock WRX brake calipers; however, Amazon is wrong. Maybe they fit the STI model, but the STI and WRX brakes are not the same. Others have commented with this same problem. Unfortunately I did not see those comments prior to losing half a day of work because of being supplied the correct parts.

Works great, they are much better than my stock pads. Don't have as much brake dust on my wheels and still have great stopping power.

Exactly what it looks like. It's a great pad overall. I am replacing only half worn pads because I took some bad advice and used sonax wheel cleaner. As that product works very well, it makes the brakes squeal. Lesson learned, now I know. I have stop tech pads, rotors, lines on a sti and it's as good as the stock brembos

Installed these brakes on my Evo X, pretty easy install and great for daily driving. Great price. Would buy again.

Bought these an entry level track pad. They held up to 20 minute lapping sessions without fade. Pedal feel is progressive which makes it easy to modulate compared to the stock Brembo pads which were very on-off in its bite.On the street these pads can make a bit of squeal under light braking because they need constant hard braking to stay bedded in. Cold bite is definitely weaker than stock street pads because these 309's are meant to work at a higher temperature range.Overall very good value for a performance pad, just not a good daily driver pad because of the noise and the immense dust. I only use these for autocross/trackday then swap to Centric ceramic pads for the street.

Great Replacement Pads

Installed this 309 compound pad on my STI (had the 308 harder track compound previously). What a difference, the 309 is so much better for street driving. Has more initial bite and stops better when cold. Quite too! Highly recommend this pad as it is great value for money and provides great performance.

Great brake pads. Lots of stopping power on my Subaru STI with these on. Even under hard extended braking there is no noticable fade. They do wear a bit quick but are nice and quiet.
