GOMEXUS Power Knob Drill Fitment for Daiwa BG Penn Spinfisher Battle II Saltwater Reels 45mm 47mm

First off I am in love with this handle I bought 3 so far for all my daiwa reels. it is a big improvement over the stock BG T-Handle. Word of advice if you are installing this handle once you cut the old handle off don’t try to use a punch to get the rest out just drill out with a small bit first and work your way up. Also the people complaining about it coming loose that is not the fault of the company there is a thing called loctite you should apply on the threads.

I have put these knobs on all of my reels. They are beautiful, well made and super smooth turning with 2 ball bearings inside. I have mostly Penn reels and you have to cut the stock knob off the handle and drill a hole for mounting. Make sure you drill the right size hole. For the smaller knobs/shaft it’s a #10 drill. I cannot remember the size of the larger shaft, but I used a micrometer to determine the size and it was a US drill. Not difficult, but need a vice and proper drill.

The golden screw would not come off either way! I was really looking forward to using this knob but since there was no possible way of installing it, though it should have been easy, now I can't even use it. What a waste of money.

Put it on a Ultegra XTD... Bearing fit reel, buy are loose on the knob. Filled the gaps with a little lock tite seemed to do the trick. Came with three screws and none of them fit. Factory screw worked but cant tighten too tight or know wont spin. Just short of all the way tight with some red locktite. Hope it holds...For the price i am good with it. Instructions are worthless. Instructions actualy state to use better bearings for better performance.I would have given it 4 stars if the bearings it came with actually fit the knob. Would have given it 5 if the screws fit.Seller shipped fast. No complaint there.

What's up people. I just brought the daiwa bg 5000 fishing reel. I didnt like the handle so I changed it to the 45mm Gomexus black and gold to match my reel Haha because that's how I roll!!Any how, this is not a plug and play deal. You have to be mechanically inclined and have the right drill bits to make it happen. Or at the least know how to use a drill.I had to drill out my handle because the one provided did not fit. It's not hard if you have the right mm bits.I didnt have the right bits but I did have a round file to complete the job.Good luck you all. It's worth the buy when it's all done.
