Yes new watch is great but I did not receive the case that was advertised in pictures with this watch. I was happy to receive the watch but disappointed there was no case to put it in that was once again advertised in the pictures????

I know many people value watches in different ways, but for me it is looks, function, a bit of brand name/recognition and quality. After looking at a lot of different watches from about $200-$1000 I chose the Victorinox Alliance Chronograph because it is one of the larger watches they sell at 44mm, it looks very clean and elegant in pictures and in person (more expensive even) and I love the Victorinox brand as I have multiple knives of theirs which are very high quality and so is the watch. I find myself playing with the chronograph feature a lot and it's cool to have some utility along with the jewelry aspect and general time. I'm just starting to get into watches as a bit of a hobby and I'm very happy with my choice.
