Trixie 2561 Dental Care Kit, dog, White, 4 Count (Pack of 1)

As a first time dog owner I really want to do things right so I looked into dog dental care kits and I think this one is really good value for money. This kit has two short finger brushes one for brushing the teeth and one for massaging the gums, there's also a longer double ended tooth brush which makes it really easy to get further back in the mouth and of course the tube of toothpaste. I was very concerned that my dog wouldnt like the taste but she didn't seem to mind it at all and it smells lovely and minty. I've used the toothpaste fairly regularly since purchase, the tube has lasted a lot longer than expected and my dogs teeth are still looking lovely and white! The only bad thing is that if you get it on your dogs fur its rather difficult to get out, but I will be purchasing again in the future as it has achieved what I wanted.

Cannot really comment on the flavour but my dog seems to enjoy it and let's me brush her teeth with ease. Finger brush makes it easier and the elongated tooth brush makes it easier to get to the back of her mouth to brush the hard to reach teeth.

For the price this is a great little kit. Be aware that it comes with 2 different sized finger brushes. one actual tooth brush with a large brush head on one side and a small brush on the other end. It also comes with a good sized tube of toothpaste. I also liked the fact that one of the finger brushes is designed specifically for gums. Worth the money.

never used it, don't know what i was thinking trying to brush my dogs teeth, it was like a wrestling match =/ cute product though, you have everything you need if your dog likes it!

Bei der Recherche über die Hundezahnpflege habe ich gelesen, dass bestimmte Bereiche des Mauls sehr empfindlich sind. Da hat es mich sehr verwundert, dass im Grunde alle Bürsten (bis auf der Massagekopf) sehr hart sind und auch keine abgerundeten Borsten haben. Die Größe ist für unseren Mops leider viel zu groß und trotz des Versuchs der langsamen Gewöhnung an die Zahnpasta läuft das Hündchen weg, wenn es die Tube nur von Weitem sieht. Es ist Minzgeschmack, ähnlich einer Zahnpasta für Menschen. Zusammengefasst: Für unseren Hund nicht geeignet und in Bezug auf meine Erwartungen kann ich das Set nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich denke ich werde es mit einer Kinder- oder Babyzahnbürste mit weichen, abgerundeten Borsten und einer Leberwurstzahnpasta erneut probieren.
