MoodiCare Hello Kitty Alarm Clock w/ Soothing Glow LED Lights And Thermometer

For the price and function you can't really beat these!I needed small clocks for my desk at work, I switch between time zones by the minute and as I'm new to it I get confused as to what is what. These little guys fit perfectly four across in a standard paper tray. I have them placed under a laminated placement map with the time zones of the US drawn on it. They line up perfectly and make things much more easy for me.They run standard or military time... my only complaint is I can't figure out how to set the military time! The first clock I set up before noon and it automatically went to military (perfect because that is what I wanted). The other three all reverted to standard time, and I can't get them on the 24 hour clock for anything! ****If you have tips I'd be greatly appreciative!****As far as others who have complained about the lights draining the batteries I can not attest to that as I do not intend on using the light feature.Bright side...the ones I got came with the batteries that run the clock. **NOTE: it appears the clock runs off of two watch batteries, I'm assuming the lights run off the 4 AAA batteries required. I did not add the AAA and the clocks all run.These shipped from Hong Kong. Slightly frustrating to wait BUT I got them in three weeks, not the four predicted, they came in great shape.For the price as long as you don't mind a wait these are really great.

My kid wanted a Hello Kitty clock and we needed a digital one since we had an analog one that was really hard to set for a precise time. This was a prime lesson in you get what you pay for. It is an odd little clock that is not that easy to set (at least it was not intuitive for me--but doable with the directions). It is also difficult to turn the alarm off when it starts making noise and I don't think it has a snooze function. Oh, and it plays a Christmas song for the alarm--not exactly what I expected. It lights up and changes color as advertised, but only when you depress the buttons on the bottom, but it only stays on long enough to turn maybe two colors before it turns off. You can also move another switch and leave the light on continuously, but no telling what that will do to the battery.It is fine, and cute, but I would not buy one again. The alarm does not even wake my kid up 75% of the time.***Update*** Well, about a month after this review, the clock no longer displays the digital information on the screen. It's just gone. Now, it is a big, cube-shaped, color-changing nightlight! I am taking back two of my stars!!!

My daughter had been asking for an alarm clock for her birthday and I found this one. I was really reluctant to buy it because of the mixed-message reviews. I spent more time reading reviews on this than I have on any other item I've bought through Amazon before. The thing is wonderful, it is exactly what I expected it to be and I don't know if we just got lucky or if other reviewers weren't reading instructions.It is a small, simple clock set up so setting it can be tricky--there are a lot of different bits to set between date and time but the instructions have the order.I also saw that some people were complaining that it came without any batteries. Mine came with the two watch batteries for the clock (it had plastic between them that needed pulled out). It did not come with the 4 AAA batteries for the light. And it did not come with an adapter but it is set up for one.

if it worked properly, i think it would have been really cute- especially for the price. it's very compact, the HK graphics on it are adorable, but like another reviewer stated, the beeping every time you push a button is loud and somewhat obnoxious, but a minor detail. the primary issue i had was that i could not get any lights to shine, and worst of all, the display was defective. the second digit on the time display only partially lit up, so it most often appeared to be a 1, or part of a one, when the time was really 2, 5, 8, etc, and the year always appeared to be in the 2100's. so, obviously not helpful.i went to exchange this item and found that i could not do so because it is only fulfilled by amazon and the defect was not a result of amazon's fulfillment or the shipping process. my only option was to return and reorder. frustrating, to say the least. and now to purchase another, i can only do so as an add-on to another order, which i currently don't need to make (unless i pay for shipping, which i originally didn't have to!) i just want the working clock i ordered!it may be worth the risk to order this product, but just be ready for frustration if the one you get happens to be one, like mine and others here, that doesn't work properly.

Aside from taking some time to arrive and not coming with anything but a folded slip of paper with instructions to set it up (which I did not find until after my roommate figured how to set it up herself) and coming in a bubble-wrapped envelope, the items was exactly like the picture and was a wonderful deal; I have seen similar at at least twice this price so when I saw it selling for under $2, I pounced on the deal. The set-up is odd and I got freaked out because there is a setting that flashes one of the colors when clicked and since the color was always odd and was similar to how neon signs appear once the neon runs out, I was able to find out that the on/off switch is for the alternating color setting, which is a beautiful, glowing LED feature that can be used as a night light. I have really enjoyed this item.

It's a cute little clock. The upside is that it doesn't drain batteries as quickly as you might expect, and it does come with the clock batteries in the box, which was a nice surprise.The cons are that it is very limited functionality wise. When you set the date, as it doesn't allow you to set the DAY of the week manually, you will go to "December 16" for example, and it will show as a Friday, not as a Sunday (Which is what 12/16 actually is) - That tells me that whomever developed the very simple functions, did so in 2010 and didn't add a feature to allow you to adjust the year, or the day of the week, so it always reads incorrectly.

When I opened the package, I was instantly disappointed that the picture on the box was just of a regular clock. Once you open the box though, it was infact the Hello Kitty Clock. The alarm sound is Christmas music, which is slightly funny. Was easy to set up and works perfect!
