Great product
Excellent product. While durable it can chafe skin if allowed to rub and the zipper pull sometimes gets exposed and can be a problem but not for the vast majority of uses. It's really improved and added variety to my entire body making it more adaptable to the outdoor activities I engage in. The water filler is really a convenient and less messy option. It's also superior at challenging your core.

I wish I had it when I was competitive
I was a competitive Taekwondo player. After two knee injuries, and realizing that I'm not Olympic-level I've decided to quit. Nevertheless, I love to keep myself in great shape.This toy allows you to do all sorts of spiraling motions which strengthen muscles you never were aware of. Certain exercises (e.g Cyclone, one-arm shouldering) simulate wrestling well. I loved Judo, but at a certain stage your body gets tired of getting thrown around, you get injured etc. When I exercise with this sandbag filled with water, I'm feeling I'm back in my Judo dojo.It's convenient, because you can travel with it and you can store it in the house quite inconspicuously. I'm living with my fiancee, and I'm more limited with the amount of fitness equipment I can have at home than what I'm used to. This one toy takes care of my comprehensive workout. I complement it with scorpion and spiderman pushups, as well as the iron gym for pullups, some core exercises on the floor, and I'm done.One note - it comes with a DVD. I've never watched it. Instead, I've youtubed "MMA sandbag workout" or "MMA sandbag training". For example [...] (you'll want to mute your sound before you watch this)

Great workout!
Very well made product.I bought this particular sandbag with the option of filling it with water but so far I've only used it with sand - thinking that would be easier to get started with.At first doing anything felt awkward - but after using it every day for a month I am getting the hang of it and feel much stronger. I'm not used to working with weights and started with it only half-full - and am adding more sand every week.I enjoy carrying it over my shoulders every morning up the steps next to our house.I may switch to water eventually but for now I like the way it feels with sand.
