My dog was inbetween sizes according to the size chart, so I choose the larger size of the two. When it came, the legs are too short, head part is too small. I contacted the company about returning the item and never heard anything from them.The idea for the costume is really cute, just sizing is off.

The pictures I got were probably worth the cost of the costume. Omg so cute! But it would not work well if you intended the dog to walk along when trick or treating. There is a string with a cord for tightening around the head area but it's in a little extra piece of fabric that needs to be tucked into the costume which makes it hard to get it to fit well and it doesn't stay in place. The other issue is the legs. There is way to much room in them and the fabric only goes all around the leg in the foot/ankle area. As a result the dogs feet come out often. If they added a little Velcro on the back of these it would mark much better. Someone handy could make some adjustments to make it work better. I don't sew so I just tied some string around the leg area and it wasn't very noticeable and helped somewhat. I also cut the string around the hood so it could be tied as opposed to the draw strong device they have on there that loosens very easily.In the second picture you can see the little piece of fabric from the hood area has come out and is visible and also how the feet don't look right or stay in place without some assistance.I got an XS for my 6 lb shitzu mix.
