Sexy, Sensual, & Satisfying!
Quintessence! Where to start? I mean…really. I guess before I tell you how much I love this series, I can tell you that I came to find this story after the first set was collected into the omnibus known as Hers to Keep. It was only the second story I had read from Serena Akeroyd and it completely cemented her as one of my most favorite authors of all time. I know…that’s a big claim. But you have to understand, Serena Akeroyd has an incredible way of creating characters that work their way into your heart, make you believe they are real, and make their stories into these epic adventures that you cannot help but be swept up into.Hers to Keep is seriously one of the sexiest books I’ve ever read. I have read smutty books, don’t get me wrong. Quintessence is sexy, sensual, and satisfying. This is where we meet Sascha, the sassy American, and her five odd, quirky, sexy assortment of men. Watching them fall in love was so much fun. Each of the relationships between Sascha and her guys is unique and the characters reflect their individual personalities so well. Theirs to Cherish sees Sascha and her guys wrapped up in each other, as well as individually focused on their lives and careers. Love and passion are ever-present, but so are the struggles of loss, stress, and violence that strain relationships to the breaking point. Hers to Hold was the perfect ending to this story, though even saying ending brings up a bittersweet emotion for me. Seeing these characters’ lives evolve, and a bit of a time jump to glimpse the future, is always something I appreciate in stories. I feel like I have gone on an emotional roller coaster of a ride with Sascha, Devon, Kurt, Sawyer, Andrei, and Sean. These characters hold such a special place in my heart. They are not just for Sascha to hold, they are for me to hold too.So, now, Serena Akeroyd has taken all of these stories and put them into one giant collection. And on top of that, she’s given her fans a little added bonus at the end that will make you smile. As with with every book I’ve read from her, the pace is fantastic, the story is well-developed, the characters are well-rounded, the dialogue is smart and funny, and the steamy scenes will fog up your Kindle! I love that while the relationships are at the foreground of the story, the background is full of intrigue, danger, and just the regular curve balls life sometimes throws our way. I said it above, Serena Akeroyd is definitely one of my all-time favorite authors. If you love a well-crafted romance story that follows the road less traveled, then Serena Akeroyd is the author to take you on that journey and Quintessence will steal your heart along the way!

Wow what a book, well technically 9 books of awesome!
Review: 5/stars and 3/spiceWOW...Nine books in one, bonus scenes, and 1616 pages in total! That’s what I just did in 2 days, cause it was that damn addictive. The FMC, Sascha, is a truly charming, intuitive younger woman that takes a job working as the house manager and cook for the MMC’s (Sean, Kurt, Sawyer, Devon, and Andrei). Sascha and the guys start to fall for each other very quickly. These characters go through some major growth in the book, which since it expands of many years of them together is expected. The book has twists and turns that leave you pissed, crying, broken hearted, a lot of very hot steamy scenes, and repeats throughout. Sascha, is what every RH needs in a woman. She is attentive and nurturing with endless love. The guys are all hot, slightly older geniuses that met in college and now choose to live together making a family for themselves. There is so many topics touched on in this book; reverse harem, genius billionaires, loss of child, murder attempts, unexpected sickness, secret families, hot steamy scenes with new found kinks. This multifaceted trope series truly explains the length of the book. Add in the bonus scenes and future insight into the second generation, you truly get your answers into their lives and then some. I truly can not wait for Tin & Alice’s story to come out in December 2021. I highly recommend Quintessence and reading this series in its complete book. If Serena was not already a one-click author for me this book would have made her one.

DNF: TW don’t read if you’re autistic
This book has a great plot, the writing and editing are well done and I wanted to love it, but as an autistic person, the way the FMC and harem treats Devon destroys my heart. I wanted to know what happens and I found the plot compelling, but every time they failed to explain to him why they were annoyed at him or mad at him, my heart broke a little more. They know he’s literal and then laugh at him instead of accepting him and yell at him all the time when he’s blunt instead of being kind and patient or explaining. And while this is how autistic people are usually treated by neurotypical people, the author was writing his love story too. He doesn’t deserve this from the people who are supposed to love him just the way he is. If you are going to write a character that is different than you (race, orientation, neurotype, disability etc.) get a sensitivity reader to go over it for you. I wish I could highly recommend this well written plot and well edited series, but I still feel devastated for Devon and just can’t.

Just wow!
Quintessence is one of the best RH series I have ever read. It has been a go to read for me when I'm in a slump for reading. I've read this book series at least 5 or 6 times. Having Serena putting it all in one book and the extra snippets that were added made this read like it was a brand new book to read for me this time.I love how Sasha came into the men's livrs and turned them upside down. She was a great addition to the household and she wasn't just a housekeeper as she was originally hired for. She was surrounded by a household of geniuses and they come to find out that she was also very smart, able to help Kurt with his novels by reading and editing, listening to Sean Andrei and Devon, and Sawyer. The story had many twist and turns in the beginning nothing seemed pushed, it all seemed to flow naturally.I recommend this book to anyome looking for a good RH book to read.

A fantastic complete series in one place
Quintessence the complete collection is exactly what it says on the tin its the glorious collection of all the Quintessence books in one place which follow Sascha who applies for a job of housekeeper to 5 brilliant minded and totally gorgeous men (Devon, Kurt, Sean, Sawyer and Andrei) who all live together mainly as a family unit of their own choosing. Sascha is feisty, sexy, sassy and totally blows their lives up and teaches them how to live, love and protect what they have. I absolutely adore the relationship between Sascha & the guys with all their own quirks and backstories which gave them a unique edge to the whole thing. This whole collection features Her to keep, Theirs to Cherish and Hers to hold, as well as bonus scenes. They suck you in and grip you right up until the very end. Full of laughs, love, a few tears, plenty of steam but lots of heart with characters that you can't help but love. Its just my favourite RH ever

Perfect collection ❤️
I am so excited that this book brings together the Quintessence series (Hers to Keep, Theirs to Cherish and Hers to Hold) into one collection. This was the first RH story I ever read and Serena had me hooked straight away. This is one book that I will reread over and over again. The relationship dynamics between Sascha (FMC) and the men in her life, Sean, Kurt, Andrei, Sawyer and Devon are unique. Each one has a different romantic connection and their interactions with each other made my heart melt. The extra content is amazing and not to be missed. Superbly written. 5 stars.

A monster of a book but well worth reading!
I read the original series a while ago and the Veronia series but fell out of the loop with the follow on series and then got confused with the new names. This omnibus edition is the perfect way to catch up with the family and read right through to the end of the story so far. This is a great story which balances action and trauma with relationship building and domestic life. The characters feel real, if unusual, and the sex, while plentiful, doesn't feel gratuitous. I loved the peek at the next generation and want to learn more about the other offspring. This was a thoroughly satisfying read! I borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited.
