Sooooo glad I got these! Use them at the lake and they were wonderful! Dried quickly when in and out of water. I did not feel the need to wear bathing suit bottoms under these. I felt the coverage was great; no see through, etc. No chaffing in sensitive places. Wonderful for water skiing, water sports for any age; (wish I had these years ago to prevent the water park slide wedges when standing up). Provides much needed UPF 50+ protection from the suns ultra-violet rays without needing to apply sunscreen, yay! Fits nicely; I brought these in medium and I wear size 8; doesn't hug like spank, but does help to hide unwanted bumps in undesirable places.Suggestion: make in other colors such as dark/marine/navy blue - when you do, I'll buy a pair in those colors as well!Update: 08/2017, still wearing original black pair from over a year ago. Pants still look like new, no color fading even though I wear them in the chlorine-pool several times per month. I wash them in cold water on delicate cycle, hang up to dry & they have held their shape nicely. Some loose threads around calf area on one leg; overall still pleased with purchase.

I got these as an alternative to a regular swimsuit because my legs have gotten white beyond compare these last two years and I didn't want to risk a sunburn on my first trip to the beach. Truly, my only complaint (and it's the reason it's a four star and not five) is that the way they're made makes them a natural sand trap below the knees. Seriously, the first time I took them off after being in the ocean I couldn't believe how much I found caked inside! To be fair, I have a three year old, so I spent a lot of time sitting directly on the sand playing with him, but still.Good things about them: super comfy, fit as expected, and stayed in place while swimming. No chaffing in sensitive places, and since they're black they'll pretty much go with anything. Now, it wasn't super hot where we were, and I'm not sure these would be as comfortable in truly hot weather unless you were in the water the whole time. Overall, though, I'm a very satisfied costumer.

I am a middle-aged woman who has had 4 kids - this is not a bikini body. I wanted swim pants I could wear so I wouldn't feel weird about being in public in a swimsuit and these did the trick. They fit great, the material is nice, I can swim in them (I swim laps and they are perfect for that). They don't slip or climb. They aren't see through. This is actually my third pair because eventually, they do wear out. I have had each pair for about a year. I do wear them twice a week to swim laps at the gym and every day in the summer because I love the pool. Wear them less and they will last longer, mine have each lasted about a year with very regular use. You won't tan through them so you will have crazy tan lines if you are wearing them out in the sun. They don't fade, really, they are great and I love them. If you have a bikini body, wear a bikini....because eventually, father time will come for you too.

I ordered a pair of these 2 years ago in 2X. Which I have been happy with. However, I have lost a bunch of weight and used them a lot,, so the 2X are big and worn out. I figured since they're pretty stretchy, would order the Medium. Medium was much like the 2X, legit tags/labels and material was the same with a lot of stretch. The M however was a little too tight. So, I ordered a Large. The Large was a more matte material and it was actually SMALLER and less stretchy than the Medium. It also didn't have legit tags on it. So, I tried my luck returning for a different Large. 2nd Large and same issue as the first. Not the same material, smaller/less stretchy/more matte than the legit Medium. It also came with some of the seam ripped in the crotch. I'm planning on returning all and going with a different company. Nice product when it's the right one.

The fit of the leggings is great and they smooth out my legs nice BUT they are pretty see through. There is no way you could wear these with a swim top that doesn't cover your butt. I don't like wearing underwear under a swimming suit, so these will not work for me. I will wear them as leggings under a dress or something but for a swim suit....nope.

These are great. Between a family history of melanoma and an uncomfortable amount of jiggle, I wanted a little more coverage than most bathing suits provide. Swim skirts and boy short bottoms are never long enough and are no help at avoiding chub rub. Usually, the boy shorts creep up in an unflattering manner and chafe everything raw. I wear these for lap swimming (which is not something you can wear board shorts or swim dresses for), hanging out at the beach, and swimming lessons.These are a little longer than I'd generally wear, but I'm 5'4" and about 165 lbs with short legs. I ordered my regula pants size. These are really comfortable and stretch well. I haven't had any pinching or pulling that I sometimes get with yoga or exercise pants, and the material is heavy enough to cover bumps and other imperfections well.They dry quickly, and they're sometimes dry by the time we get ready to leave the water so I don't even have to change. When they're wet, it's not a huge challenge to get them off, though, so points for that convenience.So yeah. They're fantastic. I wish they came in more colors!
