The key finder works fine; it may come in vary handy when you need it. But the devices are larger than I had hoped they would be. Each one is about an inch and a half long and nearly a half-inch thick.

It works and appears to be durable enough. Shortly after getting it, I lost my keys. I walked all around the house with the transmitter and heard nothing. Then went out to my wife's car, where I had been riding in the passenger seat, and heard the beeping. I still had a hard time finding the keys (they were hidden down in the crack between the seat and console), which tells me they would have been lost for a very long time if it weren't for the key locator.

Easy set up, loud noise level, consistent results, A+++++++ finder!
This is super easy to set up. Arrives in a Omala-branded cardboard package where the four finders, remote, remote base and batteries are encased securely. You do have to insert a battery in each finder. While the material is a lightweight plastic, it is sturdy enough to hold together and withstand the bumps and grinds of life. Important because I have one attached to several items that are in movement 18 hours out of every day, so they have to withstand quite a bit of knocking around. And despite that fact, the battery container has not been jiggled loose even once.Once the batteries are in (both the remote and each finder), no pairing is necessary. It's plug-n-play, so to speak. One depression of the colored remote button makes the finder do 16 high pitched quick beeps. Eight beeps, pause, eight beeps. If you find the finder prior to the full beep sequence ends, there is no way to stop the beeping. You just have to wait out the full beep sequence.Getting on to the noise level. These are fairly loud. In a 3000 sq ft property, I can hear the alert even if I am several rooms away and separated by several walls. If doors are shut, however, I find I have to be only one room away in order to hear it. I can hear the alert even if the finder is "buried" in a purse or under clothing items. I cannot hear the alert if I am several rooms away AND up or down the stairs, or at far corners of the property. That is easily fixed by walking around while pressing the finder remote. All in all, I absolutely LOVE this product. It is a lifesaver. I've had it for several months and it is going strong. By the way, I have both this product and finders that are Bluetooth-powered and these win HANDS DOWN. The Bluetooth ones work 15-25% of the time. These work 100%. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I absolutely recommend this product. And I really bought this from Amazon. I bought it not because I loose things as much, but because I have several items that are super important that I need to keep track of. And this one beat out the competitors price-wise. As far as I can tell, there is no sacrifice in quality. So I hope the review helps. Happy finding!

It's not your keys that will get lost
Within the first week, the battery cap fell off one of the tags, and the battery fell out also. I haven't found them, so that tag is useless unless I want to duct tape a battery into it. Another week out, and a tag slips off my keyring due to the thin connector loops that come with the tags. The locator beep also isn't very loud. The tags are pretty. Maybe I'll hang them on the Christmas tree so the tree doesn't get lost. They have sort of an egg shape, so they might be fun for an Easter egg hunt also.

Absolutely perfect!
Works perfectly for my needs! I couldn't be more pleased with the product. There were enough receivers to attach to both of our primary and backup key sets. I put each key set in another room to test the range and they worked perfectly. I don't often misplace my keys, but it's nice to have the peace of mind that I won't be scrambling around in a panic trying to find them before I'm late for work some morning.

I have used this item on many occasions and found my keys! The only thing of note is that the original batteries did not last long (not sure how long they are supposed to last) so check them on occasion to make sure they are working. Last thing you want to happen is they go dead and your key finder can't find your keys.

Wish it were louder
Wish they were a bit louder and had a flat back. We bought these for our remote control and car keys. Had to super glue it to the remote and due to the curved design it didn't last long. Hard to hear it when your toddler hides the keys in a toybox.

Elderly Assistance
This key locator was purchased for my mother who has dementia. Every time I call her she can't find her phone. or the phone is dead because she forgets to charge it. Her husband is 86 and he loses his keys often. This was perfect for them to locate the dead phone, or lost keys.
