Go to the wiki page on the manufacturer website and you will get a pretty good instructional on how to use the NFC E-Tag app. I’ve attached pictures of the process to send a pre-downloaded picture to the e-ink display. Two tips- 1) Place the unit at the top of your phone (mine is an iPhone 14pro) like you would when using tap to pay. 2) When the percentage counter reaches 100% count to three and wait for the process to finish. If you can see the screen, it will flash three times from white to black and back and forth. When you remove your phone you will get an error for some reason but the process will have been a success if you see your display with what you sent it.Hardware-wise this is as simple as you can get. No buttons, no batteries. The screen is very clear and easy to read. There are two spring loaded mounting tabs on the back that can be used to panel-mount this device. It looks to be able to mount into a very shallow lip, probably 2-3mm thick at most. See pic.I’ll probably pickup more of these as I can see a great use case scenario for them with a stick-on business card magnet on the back or as a gimmick name-tag at events. QR codes , even at 1/2 the display height work fine. The last image on my pics shows how I used my phone camera to scan a random envelope I had sitting in my kitchen and used that to send to the screen. It works very well.

Not a smooth tinker at all, but that would have been ok except the application must have gotten removed by Google Play....would love transparency as to why, or for them to create another application which does go through the playstore. It is slightly concerning to have to install a downloaded apk from their site.Aside from that glaring issue, which they are not up front about at all, the app itself is rather glitchy. But the hardware when it finally gets the job done, it does it well and the dang idea is great for what i need it for, it is just a shame that I have to trust an unknown company to install a non Google approved app for god knows what reason that their app was suspended.
