It is what it is
Installed 3" inch buckshot shells. 3 went in there good and the 2 left had to push them in there tight. The fact that is plastic did not like that. Remember u have to get a side picatinny rail install on side to get it mounted. Other than that its okay for the price.

It’s plastic not aluminum!
This item is plastic! It mounts semi-sturdy on picatinny rail.At first it holds extra rounds really stiff (which is great) but over time the shells begin to slide a little because it is plastic.I could be mistaken but I remember the description stating that it is metal but is NOT!I gave it a 3 because I still think it’s worth the buy for the price and I still have it attached to my KSG.On a really good positive it holds up to a pretty good beating and hasn’t broken yet. So final thoughts are for the money I’d buy it if I was on a budget.

Very tight on the 2 shell holders connected to the rail attachment
Didn't know what to expect for the price but this was exactly what I was looking for: rail-mounted shell holder for my shotgun. The first 2 shell holders work just fine, as does the last 1, but the 2 shell holders that were directly in front of the rail attachment had no flexibility with holding shells and that makes it a serious pain to try and push the shells out. Holds onto them just fine, but very impractical with quick-reload actions because of how tight they hold those two shells. I'll be take a sanding brush to the insides to try and give more wiggle room for the shells to move around and be pushed out more easily.

It works, I use it a bit unorthidox, but usable...
I received the product and thought it did look a lot like a toy and didn't care for its initial appeal. It is VERY easy to install, the button pushes smoothly without any drag or friction, slides on and off like butter so very good for high speed low drag installation. Now the one thing that did bother me the most, however can be a positive, two of the slots are VERY tight. I had to pry the shells out of the slots, they are two of the inside holders. This is probably due to the design because where the rail mount is does not offer any flexibility of the plastic and once in, they don't come out. I fixed this however by installing one shell on top and bottom, only pushing the shell in half way to keep them from being too snug. This method worked very well, I shot the gun in this configuration and had no problems, they didn't fall out and if they did, it was going to take a bit to accomplish that. Anyone else who experiences this same problem, try this technique and you will have a five shot holder with seven shells instead. Enjoy

Ease of use
Too tight for the center shells, both in putting them in and removing. (New shells, not swollen) Tried to different loads and same results. Will work, but not ideal for my purposes. Sorry

Some of the previously described problems seem to have been fixed
Great side (top for me) saddle for my Warhammer shotgun rail. Sits low enough that it doesn't interfere with the flip up sights or red dot I have on the unit. While there are two shell holders that are tighter than the others, they are not too tight for use. I think they have loosened stuff up a bit from previous versions. For instance, one user said they would load up 10 shells front to front. I don't think that would work anymore, they would fall out, except the two in the middle.

Tight fit
Two of the five shell holders too tight and sliding on pic rail was very tight also. Decent price, seems durable and looks good on shotgun.

Works well.
Works like it is supposed to, good enough to by a second one. Low enough profile to put on the top rail of my shot gun and still able to target over it with my iron and red dot sights. I would post a picture but because of Amazon liberal ideologies apparently you cant post a picture of a product on what its intended for (a shotgun) lol...
