Q: Can you throw one of these in a hard plastic water bottle to clean it? (instead of using the dish washer)

It will not clean a bottle like soap but will kill germs on contact. If you have residue like coke or tea, it will do nothing to clean it. On the other hand if you have only water in it and just want to kill anything left over from drinking, it will kill any germs that might be left over.

Q: Can this product be used to sanitize a cpap machine, including water reservoir, hose, and face mask? i'm concerned about breathing in residue later.

I would say if the parts can be soaked you will be fine. I use a glass to allow the tablet to dissolve, then add to bath in the sink. I would use a soft brush or towel to get rid of any build us residue on cpap after a two-minute soak I think it would be ready to dry. Sunlight also kills germs too.

Yes Melissa. I set up 1 compartment with hot soapy water, 1 cool water rinse and 3rd hot water with this sanitizer. Soaking items for 3-4 minutes then air dry on a rack. Also use in a spray bottle to sanitize countertops. Just insure proper strength for sanitizing by using test strips.

It should. When used properly it can kill even the aids virus. You can use it in a spray bottle but to be effective you need to allow the solution to sit on the surface for about five minutes. All surface dirt should be removed prior to sanitization.
