Vintage Leather Duffle Bag Bergen for Travel or the Gym, Overnight Bag for Men and Women - Brown (Brown)

I was looking for a great quality leather travel bag to replace my much loved (now ancient) one, and after looking at the photos and reading the reviews, I decided on this Berliner one. It’s gorgeous looking, and spacious with a lot of cool, and handy compartments. The leather is surprisingly thick but soft, and you can tell that it’s sturdy and very well made. We’re taking a trip to Hawaii in mid-September, and I can’t wait to pack this beautiful bag! I’ve been checking out their other products to see what else I might need. I’m very happy with this purchase!

This is the perfect weekender bag. I spent hours searching for a simple, high-quality design...Many of the other bags I looked at were up to $100-$300 more than this... But their designs were too complicated (i.e. too many buckles, straps, weird compartment layout...)Luckily I found this Berliner Vintage Leather Duffle Bag. It's an amazing price, too, for such a nice bag. It has two large end compartments with additional zip-up sleeves inside. The design is modern, but has a timeless old-world feel to it, which I love.I recently returned from a cross-country flight and had no issues using this as a carry-on. When I met up with my friends, the first words out of their mouths weren't "hey, it's good to see you..." instead they said, "I LOVE THAT BAG!"I 100% recommend.

First of all! This bag is sooooo much bigger than what it looks like in the picture! The quality if RIDICULOUSLY good! Like its thinks leather and has that wonderful leather smell. The metal pegs on the bottom are not flimsy. The luggage tag is super cute. The straps are comfortable. The leather is already soft and the color is beautiful. I can't recommend this enough! And a leather duffle this large and this good in quality for THIS PRICE is unheard of! WOWWWWW I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!! Last thing. It has a frame so it stays rectangular and does not smush the bag or your things. I am super happy wow.

This bag is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It is well made, sturdy, durable, and has great compartments. This bag is timeless and will become more beautiful with use.As per another reader’s experience, the application of a leather lotion lessened the oil smell from the tanning process. The quality is superb.

If you tend to do more frequent 2-3 day trips this bag is the perfect replacement for your gigantic suitcase. The inner space is large enough to handle a longer trip if needed however. My wife says I look like an NBA star whenever I have this on my shoulder haha.

Good things aren’t cheep and cheep things aren’t good. This bag is Very Good. Have used it on a couple of trips now. Everything is was said to be, very pleased. Will look to the Berliner folks again as the need arises.

Stands up and doesn't fold in on itself, looks terrific and holds enough for an overnighter including a shave kit and a lot more. Classy bagLove it!!!!

These bags are of great craftsmanship, style and above all durability.Berliner leather bags are of beyond great quality leather used to design the bags.I often travel (insurance broker) so I'm at airports 3 to 4 times a week. I often get compliments or even asked where I bought the bag from. I highly recommend to purchase this bag if you are looking for a leather bag that is TIMELESS/ELEGANT/SOPHISTICATED period!!!

Es war eine absolute Katastrophe.Es wurde mir nicht nur das falsche Produkt geliefert (ich bekam wohl die Tasche "Oslo"), es war auch Qualitativ absolut minderwertig.Das Leder sollte eine schöne leicht glänzende Optik haben und sich gut anfühlen. Nichts davon kann ich bestätigen. Das Leder selbst war matt, extrem fettig und von schwarzen Punkten übersät. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie so ein Produkt die interne Qualitätskontrolle bestehen konnte. Direkt beim auspacken merkte ich, dass irgendwas nicht stimmte. Die Tasche war nicht die die ich bestellte. Danach sind mit immer mehr Mängel am sowieso falschen Produkt aufgefallen.Das Leder sah komplett anders als auf den Fotos. Ich habe mir fast die Nase zuhalten müssen, so sehr hat die Tasche gestunken.Natürlich habe ich den Hersteller über diesen Umstand informiert (es lag ein Zettel bei wo Instagram als Kommunikationsmittel angeben wurde). Bis heute (nach 4 Monaten) habe ich keine Antwort erhalten. Die Mängel scheinen wohl Standart zu sein. Amazon nahm den Artikel natürlich sofort zurück.Ich kann nur jedem, von Produkten von diesem Hersteller abraten, man bekommt absolut minderwertige Ware zu einem stolzen Preis.

Ich habe die Tasche als Geschenk für meinen Mann bestellt. Er war schon lange auf der Suche nach einem Gepäckstück, das man im Flieger mit an Bord nehmen kann. Er legt immer viel wert darauf, dass die Dinge, die er nutzt, ein langes Leben haben. Deswegen kam nur eine Tasche auf echtem Leder in Frage. Diese Tasche ist hochwertig gearbeitet und hat vor allem sehr stabile Tragriemen. Das Leder fühlt sich gut an und wird mit der Zeit bestimmt eine sehr schöne Patina bekommen. Toll finde ich, dass die Tasche auf Deutschland kommt. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i wäre vielleicht in Zukunft ein paar Infos zur Herkunft des Leders und der Tierhaltung.

Leider, leider... bei Bestellung war mir durchaus klar, dass ich kein HighEnd- Produkt erwarten darf. Sowohl der Rucksack, den ich gleichzeitig mit bestellt hatte, als auch diese Tasche rochen beim Auspacken extremst ranzig - wie alte Speckschwarte. Nicht nach Leder - denn den Geruch mag ich sehr! Den Rucksack habe ich gleich zurück geschickt. Die Tasche habe ich behalten und jetzt 2 -3 Wochen gelüftet, abgerieben, mit Febreze behandelt - es hilft alles nichts, die Speckschwarte ist nicht weg zu kriegen. I'm so sorry... ich wünsche, ich hätte 100 Euro mehr investiert und etwas Besseres gekauft. Zurückschicken mag ich sie nach all den Behandlungen nun auch nicht mehr. Für Bekleidung ist die Tasche nach wie vor ungeeignet. Wird wohl meine zu teure Tasche für Fotoausrüstung oder Ähnliches, das keine Gerüche annimmt. Und jedes Mal, wenn ich sie öffne, werde ich denken: teure Speckschwarte :((( Ich würde mir wünschen, dass der Hersteller faire Stellung dazu nimmt.

da ich als Berliner eine gewisse Sympathie für "Berliner Bags" habe und diese ein sehr schönes Sortiment haben (habe bspw. auch eine Bauch/Hüfttasche von "Berliner Bags"), habe ich diese Tasche bestellt... um es vorwegzunehmen: ich habe sie zurück geschickt, da ich ein etwas teureres (60€ mehr) Modell eines Weekenders gefunden habe, den ich etwas schöner fand (aber eben auch teurer)...Die Tasche riecht jedenfalls nicht unangenehm (wie von einigen beschrieben)... sie kommt gefaltet geliefert (hat daher ein paar Falten, was ich jedoch nicht als besonders schlimm empfand)... Das Leder hat nicht an allen Stellen die exakt gleiche Farbe (was ja vielleicht ein Stückweit "normal" ist bei einem Naturprodukt bzw. "Vintage-Stil")... wie gesagt, insgesamt eine schöne Tasche (daher vier Sterne), die jedoch knapp "das Rennen verloren" hat gegen eine andere (teurere) Alternative...

Die Reisetasche sieht in real genau so gut aus wie auf dem Bild. Das Design verleiht dem Träger etwas nostalgisches. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und ich kann diese Reisetasche weiter empfehlen.Der Service von Berliner Bags ist freundlich und hat mich als Käufer mit schicken Präsenten aus Leder überrascht. Das zeigt von Kundenfreundlichkeit. Dieser Kundenservice bekommt bei mir hier einen extra Pluspunkt.Auch noch zu erwähnen, ich finde es Klasse das Berliner Bags aus Deutschland kommen und daher unterstütze ich gern eine kleine Manufaktur. Gerade weil ich keine Lust mehr auf enttäuschende Produktionen aus China habe.
