When I first got this a year ago, I thought it was just a flimsy fabric pouch. However, this has turned into my favorite ear bud headphone case for flights/travel and here's why:- It lays super flat in your bag, smaller is good. It also weighs nearly nothing. Less weight in the travel bag, also good.- While it didn't seem like it would provide enough protection, this has held up great. No ear bud damage from rubbing or knocking against other things in my bag. Would it prevent your headphones from getting crushed by a car tire? No, but what will..- Finally, the squeeze open top is perfect. You can quickly drop your headphones into the pouch and tuck it away.

Ordered 1 from Amazon as a gift. I tested that it was easy to use (no need to wrap your earphone wires around something "just right"), just wrap your bud wires around your finger to wind, insert in pocket, release squeeze. Done. States it's made of cotton so I feel like it could be washed on gentle and tumbled on air dry or low if they get dirty for any reason. I wouldn't recommend heat because I assume the squeeze mechanism inside is not metal. However, the current price listed of over $8 on amazon is overpriced. I purchased another 4 more at "staples" for HALF PRICE (and free shipping). All were great gifts to coworkers this Holiday Season. If you are looking for the black earbud case, "staples" has them. They are just listed with the wrong description and item# (shows charger pocket pic and title but earbud item #), found out when I ordered a few.

These are very nice little pouches. They have a very effective spring a closure at the top that reminds me of the old cigarette pouches if you’re familiar from back in the day.The small one is just right for a front pocket. I use it to keep a tube of Chapstick and a bottle of eyedrops as well as a guitar pic and it still probably has room for a dollars worth of quarters so it’s a nice little way to organize your pocket. The large one is perfect for a back pocket or your purse to keep your phone charging cables and a car charger or a wall charger organized so they don’t clutter. I am sure there are a lot of other things you might put in this but that’s sort of what it’s intended for and it works nice for that. Excellent. That's how I describe this pouch. It has the squeeze opening I love which leads to a very quick opening and closing, and the pouch is soft enough that I feel like my earbuds will be safe enough from the dangers of my backpack compartments. When it arrived, I was a bit surprised as I thought it'd be smaller since previous similar style pouches I've had for earbuds were smaller, but it works and gives your cord a little more "breathing room".The color is bright and stands out in the sea of black in my backpack allowing quick ID and location. The inside of the pouch is "colorful" to say the least, with colored dots and assorted design on the inside. Since it's not visible, I don't mind it. Don't let your earbuds dangle freely in your backpack, purse, or pocket. Treat them well and get them one of these.

I had an inexpensive pair of earbud earphones that I kept handy for quick use. They were always getting tangled, bumped off the table, or moved. This little pocket case was just what I needed. I just coil up the earbuds and they fit neatly inside the pocket. The small case keeps them safe and the earbuds now seem to stay where I leave them. The case has a spring jaw type opening that is activated by squeezing the two ends of the opening. The price was good and there was a choice of colors. I don’t care for the musical note design on the case, but otherwise I am happy with this item.
