It’s aluminum. So what did you expect?
I’m assuming most of the hammers are slightly curved just no one really has paid attention to it. (Look down the spine of the handle (small line) and eyeball the entire hammer. Now it looks good. But you can’t expect it to hold up like most hammers. Otherwise all hammers would be made from the metal. So use common sense. If you’re all framer and demo then this ain’t the hammer for you. If you’re shop or cabinet…maybe.

Really?!?!
Craftsmanship...correct me if I'm wrong I read steel caped striking cap?!?? Well today at work I was pulling up tac strip, well they mail into concrete and the heads will pop off, just hit it a couple times itll beat down or pop out, well I was hitting it I noticed it didn't feel right, well yeah every strike was a horrible scar on the head like it was made of aluminum! (I know the hammer is) but the cap is not?!?!? Idk but for $130 I didn't expect that! And can't even get a replacement head,it clearly looks removable ugh..

Brilliant light hammer. Which feels like an Estwing
Nice weight, hammer works well.Feels like an estwing, unlike other hammers I've tried out. Claw a little shorter than a standard framing hammer. The last hammer I'll use before retirement?

Nice hammer, poor build
The hammer is very nice to use, however within 3 weeks of use the claw started to rattle loose, and the thread is damaged on one of the 2 bolts holding it on. Amazon, estwing international and our local importers all weren’t able to help or fix the problem so I will have to try glue now. I wouldn’t buy another, which is quite unfortunate as I was very happy with the hammer before the claw came loose.
