It is great

These bamboo sticks are perfectly straight and flat, absolutely no warppage. They are super strong, They have a lovely green color on one side and sort of clear wood on the other. Makes them versatile. They have a bit of thickness to them, About as thick as a Popsicle stick, maybe a tad more. One end is pointed the other flat. I used them for making some craft fan rosettes and then place them in some greenery and flowers for a decorative hedge at a Garden Bridal Shower. They worked perfect and looked awesome.

I find that the meat and veggies are much affixed to the skewer when grilling than the round ones ever were. They are a little bit harder the push the meat and veggies on to, and off-of, the flat skewers. But, you can turn the kebabs on the grill to almost any position with the meat and veggies all staying firmly in place on the skewer. I will buy these skewers again, and recommend them.

These skewers are great. They are strong and sharp enough to pierce through tough salmon skin, and they hold the food in place so there's no spinning when the kabobs are turned on the grill. I have round bamboo and metal skewers but now prefer to use these for kabobs. I also like the length of these skewers (8.3"). They hold a fair amount of food, are easy to handle, fit on small grills, and they don't splinter. Good value compared to other brands that offer 16 - 25 skewers for about the same price as 100 of these!
