Good switch. Love the led light as my stock Losi 8ight nitro switch did not have one. The charge port on the side is perfect so I don't have to unscrew my cover every single time I charge the battery. The little door that slides over it is also a really good idea but doesn't fit as tight as I would like. It will do the job I guess but I put an extra piece of tape over it just in case. The only reason I would not give it five stars is because it is a little big even for a 1/8 scale. I had to do a little bit of customizing to get it to mount but it was not that difficult so no biggie.As a revision to this review, it appears from all the comments this switch is for a plane. The product came up under an rc car search that I did. This would explain the size of the switch being too big for my application. Nevertheless, it worked just perfect with little mods. Change it to a five star product!

I build and fly scale RC Warbirds and rely on quality On/Off switches.These switches won't inadvertently shut off due to vibration like others on the market.Nice features; a shield on the side of the switch which prevents accidental switching, a charge port with a sliding cover, robust housing.

All I can say is wow. I received the package that included two of the HD switches (jr)with dual leads, the led light and the charge door. I was so !impressed by the switch that I immediately ripped the package open and hooked it up to a battery and turned it on lol. The led is green and is super bright! The switch is a perfect drop in replacement for a mpi switch that this was replacing and for a fraction of the cost!I loved it! It includes the screws already installed ready to be secured to the plane.I will definitely be stocking up these as well as recommending these to all the members at the field!

Well thought out switch. The little green light comes on when you turn the switch on. Can be easily seen from distance. Plus, you only have to deal with two wires to hook up. One to the receiver and one with female connector to the battery. You don't have to deal with installing a charge lead into the switch, which a lot of times won't fit right. Simple and easy to use. Is a little too big for smaller models, medium size .40 size up no problem. I will keep on purchasing this switch, it has me spoiled now.

These switches are high quality. I really like the led light and the charge port. I've already installed one in my new plane and it works great. Your service was high quality as well.

This is a quality piece, convenient to use and easy to install. But the actual dimensions are 43mm wide x 17mm high x 21mm deep. On smaller airplanes it will take up some space on a fuselage if that is where you mount it.

I took one of these switches apart to see how they're made and how they're wired (I like knowing if they will be reliable).The wire is 22 gauge which is just fine for most standard loads (standard size servos, receivers and gyros in RC airplanes, cars, trucks, boats or helicopters).I was a little disappointed to find that they are only using one set of contacts on a switch that has four sets of contacts just for the ON position (it has four sets of contacts for the OFF position too but when it's off, it doesn't matter).I added two jumper wires to make use of all four sets of contacts since they're there. It only took two short solid jumper wires and a tiny dab of solder to make good switch even better.Don't get me wrong, using just the one set of contacts should be fine but personally, I like redundancy.Don't use these switches in-line with devices that carry a control signal! Only use it for power straight from the battery because there is a potential for the signal wire to become grounded to the battery ground.Signal wires are typically grounded in most receivers but there is usually 2 to 3 ohms of resistance between them so a dead short to ground could cause a glitchy control signal.Personally, I always cut the control signal wire off of power switch harnesses at the end that goes into the receiver and cap it off with a little liquid electrical tape where I make the cut. That prevents the possibility for any shorts.You might think that since the signal control wire isn't hooked to the battery that it would be fine but the risk is inside of the switch (at the metal housing of the switch itself), the metal housing is inside the plastic housing and is grounded to battery negative (along with the LED negative terminal).I've never understood why they include the control signal wire on a power switch in the first place.I only give it four stars because they could have went a tiny bit father to make a good switch into a great switch.I've included a couple of photos showing the mods.Hope this helps and BTW, the more expensive switch harnesses aren't really any better, they just have a better enclosure a another cable for charging.I don't care much for the charging door and I always use a different charging connection so I'm closing this opening for good but that's just my preference.I really like the bright green LED to show when it's ON. :-)

Excellent Swicthes. Seems to be very good, heavy duty. The green light is super bright and looks great when flying the plane a dusk. I am buying more now for my next build.
