I’ve been attempting to get better at makeup lately and trying to focus more on cheaper options at this time for several reasons. I don’t want to practice on expensive palettes. I read reviews and was aware of what I was getting into. I just tried this palette and what other reviews are saying are accurate —- it’s sheer, the colors are lighter and it isn’t a universal option by any means. Lighter skinned people are the only ones who can get anything out of this, so please be aware of that when purchasing. The highlight IS pearlescent and I personally love that. I love the creaminess and I was able to tap on and blend with fingertips, and the finish was very natural!I also like that I can make a natural eyeshadow look with this, so it’s multi purpose. It’s true you often get what you pay for — there won’t be massive payoff with this palette, but for the product at $10 I find it highly worth it. Especially if you’re more of a beginner and just want to play around with skill level/technique.It’s hard to go wrong with a $10 price point, just keep your expectations at bay. I find it worth it and hopefully this helps someone else!
