When you need a gas can, this is the one you really want. I've tried so many plastic ones, and they are all bad. All of them leaked and tipped over easily. This 2.5 gallon one from Justrite is super sturdy and seems like it will last a lifetime. It doesn't even smell like gas in my trunk, where I keep it for emergencies. Highly recommended, and worth the money in the long run.

I did some significant research before I purchased this gasoline can, and am VERY pleased with it. Amazon had the best price, and it arrived in 2 days. Exceptionally easy to put together (just a screw and a gasket). Works as promised, and am VERY happy with it. I use it for my 2-cycle gas trimmer, and pouring fuel into it is SO easy with this can. I have not spilled a drop, and it is very "User friendly". A tad pricey, but money well spent, and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

I like this gas can because I can fill it without having to take the spout off. For the most part, its spill free. And the lever to open up the spout is so much easier than pressing spring loaded plastic levers on cheaper cans. So its great. I did discover after my purchase that I could have save a few dollars buying it elsewhere, but its a great product.

this type of tank is designed to be as safe as possible...problem is, the pipe does not fit a chainsaw or any smaller fuel filling port. i bought this for the fact it will last which plastic does not. also, have you tried to operate the fill controls on a plastic tank? near impossible and many people do not have the strength to operate this. i see this at walmart and tractor supply all the time and i direct them to flexible hoses with screw caps.this tank is really stellar. i think it will last longer than i will. i have some brass i just got which i will turn to fit over the end of the thing and allow me to fill chainsaws, weed eaters and that i can remove to fill larger tanks if needed.these are fire rated, that is, if you get a fire and let go, it self terminates the fire, which is a huge bonus with hot engines. i like these and have used them on many employee jobs working for someone else but never the fill small tanks.would i buy this again...only if stolen and i can't locate the thing through the sheriffs office
