Greats Sweetener with no nasty aftertaste. You'll probably want to move it to a new container.
I have to admit I am not a stevia fan. It's not because it's not a great sweetener but because I can ALWAYS taste that nasty licorice aftertaste. I found this blend delightful because even putting some directly on my finger and licking it I didn't taste anything but sugar sweetness. I don't know how often I'll use this in actual baking but I can see using it as a sugar replacement possibly in matcha latte's but I've been thinking about looking up an air fryer donut recipe I saw that used biscuit dough and seeing how powdered donuts would turn out. Can anyone recommend a better container to put this in or does it work ok? The tiny spout seems like it might be an issue and make a mess when trying to measure ingredients.

Not a true XYLITOL Sugar -- it's mixed with other sugars
It so makes me grrrrrrrrr that I paid good money for the xylitol and it's mixed with other sugars. I've never baked with a mix of sugars like this. If you are cooking and baking to share and gift baked goods, should you really trust a brand new mix for taste and overall results. I think NOT👹👹👹👹 DID I MENTION THESE (people) SHOW NO REFUND! So, now I have a very expensive sugar and am not sure what to do with it.AMAZON -- PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO BETTER! THIS IS ONE OF TWO LIKE THIS (MISLEADING AND NONREFUNDABLE) IN DECEMBER! Please consider a separate category where there is a no match between stated ingredients and actual ingredients, especially for food and medical! The vendor pays the entire refund to the customer, plus a penalty fee! Thank you for listening!

Super Sugar Substitute
A member of my family was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Eliminating sugar and restricting carbs, probably a good thing for everyone, is a must for him. But when a sweet craving hits it is nice to have options. This xylitol mix also contains stevia, inulin, beet root, seaweed extract and benntonite clay. It looks and tastes like sugar with no unpleasant aftertaste. I find it is easier on the digestive tract than erythritol. It can be used in baking as a 1:1 substitute for sugar, not calculations needed. In baked goods it is imposdible to tell the difference.I have two issues though. The first is mine was in a leaky package with the powder getting everywhere. I transferred it to a different from container. The othere there is no warning about its extreme toxicity to dogs. There should be such a warning. Many people unthinkingly share their treats with their pets and with xylitol it csn be fatal. Years ago I was at a vetrinary emergency rom with a min pin who ate half his weight in chocolate. At the same time aclady brought in her small mixed breed who ate her sugar free gum, just a stick. Both dogs were under ten pounss. Mine survived, hers did not. So while it is a terrific sugar substitue, homes with dogs should avoid or use extreme caution.

It is very clumpy and hard.
The bag had a lot of hard clumps in it. I have to put it in a food processor to powder it. I want re- purchase again

Running to the loo
I use birch xylitol in my morning coffee every day. No other brand sends me to the loo for the whole day. The combination of ingredients in this one is not all right for me.

Bakes like powdered sugar
I suppose I'll start with shipping, since another reviewer stated their product arrived open. Mine was not completely open, but when I went to open it today to use it, the cap was not on tightly. The safety seal wasn't broken, but the cap was barely hanging on.This sugar substitute has the consistency of powdered sugar. I did use it to bake today. I have a cookie recipe I call "My Sorta Healthy Cookies". This recipe is an oatmeal peanut butter cookie, with low sugar dried cranberries, dark chocolate chips, and pecans. The first part of the recipe calls for creaming the butter and sugar. I needed one cup of white sugar. Since this sugar is powdery, it wasn't that easy to get into a measuring cup out of that little spout without making a mess. I'll do it over the sink next time. I decided to just mix this sugar with the butter before adding the brown sugar, peanut butter and eggs, to see how it blended. The sugar left a lot of tiny little clumps that would not break apart with my stand mixer. I mixed on different speeds for quite awhile and the lumps remained. I added the rest of the ingredients, this made a very fluffy dough. When I scooped the dough balls on the cookie sheet, I could still see the little clumps of sugar here and there. The end product, I couldn't tell. I would suggest sifting for muffins, cakes, or frosting. Cookies are more forgiving. My cookies were not as chewy as they normally are, and I had to let them completely cool before picking them up, or they broke apart. The cookies are very tender. The taste is delicious, no aftertaste. Now my Sorta Healthy Cookies are just a bit healthier. The photos included are the same cookie before and after baking. In the raw cookie dough, you can see the tiny, white chunk of sugar that wouldn't mix in. In the other photo, the cooked sugar looks shiny, like real sugar would after cooking.

Xylitol Baking Sweetener
This sweetener is a combination of stevia and Xylitol. It is 1/1 conversion when substituted for sugar. Stevia used alone doesn't have the volume of sugar and heat can bring out it's licorice taste so it's not the best used alone for baking. The bag has a handy pouring spout. I didn't detect an unpleasant aftertaste. Xylitol can cause diarrhea and gas when over usedThere is a recipe on the bag for a cinnamon cake. I haven't tried it but am sort of leery of a recipe which confuses the use of flour/flower.I don't know why bentonite clay is used in this sweetener. It is usually used in facial masks or cosmetics and sometimes to clarify wine.I wish I could find more info on the company than just "distributed by Sweet Nature of NY Inc. Union, NJ 07083".
