Good approach, doesn't fit my mouth unfortunately.
Didn't work for me. I have a deep bite and overbite. These were not thick enough for the back teeth for me to keep my lower jaw forward and get a complete fit for all my teeth. This type of mouth guard almost eliminated my snoring and my wife sleeps well. I am struggling to find a new brand that fits my mouth like the old one (Snore-Ex). The guard was easy to mold and could have been perfect for me if it were thicker at the back teeth. You will need the water to be hotter and submerge it longer than the instructions say. I took the water to boiling, turned off the heat, held it in until it was clearly softened, let it cool a few seconds in air, then put it comfortably in my mouth. I think the manufacturer is being extra careful to avoid being sued for someone who burns their mouth.

Worked great for apnea.
I ordered this for my boyfriend while he was traveling as he forgot to take his normal mouth guard with him for his sleep apnea. It worked great for him-- as good as his dentist made guard. He's very pleased to have a back up that isn't a fortune and works! BTW, his apnea is bad enough for the CPAP machine, but he won't use it. He also has a large sized mouth, if that matters to anyone.

Okay
It was hard to put these in hot enough water without them collapsing inward, then pulling it back to work. It was great for a little, but the hole for breathing is small and gets smaller. Sometimes I can't breathe enough and sometimes it whistles.

Great in theory...
This is a great idea in theory, but even after following the instructions to the letter and doing everything possible to mold this to my teeth, I ended up with a sore mouth and mis-aligned teeth the next morning. I won't be using it again.

Bought this product twice to try after a mouth guard was recommended by my dentist for helping relieve tooth sensitivity caused by grinding my teeth in my sleep for $170.00 . I have been told that my snoring is getting worse, so I figured I was getting more bang for my bucks. I did not follow the instructions to a tee on the first buy. I heated water in my electric tea pot filled a coffee cup and immersed the guard in the water longer than the time specified. The guard went from opec to almost translucent. It molded very easy to my teeth and other anatomy of my mouth. I still snored just as loud. I thought that my leaving it in hot water too long may have made it shrink to much to so that if did not fit as far into the mouth to correctly. My last set of molars top and bottom was not covered. So I followed the directions as close as possible with the exception of using a thermometer to control the precise heat range as was indicated. I still use the heated water from my electric Tea pot. It did not mold as easily as before and mold was not as good of tooth impressions as before. It did not reach the last set of my molars either. It was more stiff. The breathing hole edges was rigid and the tip of my tongue wanted to come through it naturally. When I woke up the tip of my tongue had laceration and compression marks. I still snored loud. I went back to using the first mold that was more comfortable. My tooth sensitivity is improving. I don't know for sure if the sensitivity is better due to a new sensitive toothpaste that I am using or the guard is doing what is is suppose to do cut done of inflammation of the tooth nerves from tooth grinding. It is not as advertised as benign the BEST ANTI SNORING SOLUTION.
