This filter did very well in tests concerning removal of both bacteria and viruses. Just be aware though, you CANNOT replace the filter elements in this filter. Once it reaches it's "end of life", you just need to bin it, and buy another. I think this is incredibly wasteful, but apparently, that's the way the world and manufactures are heading. :-(So, 3 *** only because you can't self-maintain and replace the filters.

ich war sieben Wochen in Norwegen unterwegs. eigentlich dachte ich, dass Trinkwasser dort zur genüge vorhanden wäre. Gerade auf den Lofoten war ich sehr glücklich über den Lifestraw. Egal wie verfärbt das wasser von irgendwelchen algen war. ich hatte nie probleme. Der Filter scheont gut zu funktionieren. Zur handhabung:es fühlt sich alles hochwertig an und es lässt sich alles einfach reinigen. die Anleitung ist nicht besonders intuitiv, mit einigem ausprobieren kommt man allerdings drauf wie das produkt funktioniert.Je nach sauberkeit des wassers geht das filtern mal schneller oder langsamer, das war mir aber klar. ich würde dieses Produkt selbst meinem besten freund empfehlen
