ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE II (INTEL X299) LGA 2066 ATX motherboard with enhanced VRM and M.2 heatsink design, DDR4 4266 (O.C.) MHz, 802.11ac Wi-Fi

This is just an awesome board. Installation is a breeze with the io shield part of the board. I had the first version and I can tell you this is a major upgrade. Three M.2 instead of two and the Thunderbolt 3 is now built into the board. One of the big highlights for me is the included short display port cable. I run 5 monitors and had two graphics cards just for that purpose. But in my new system I moved to the RTX M4000 Quadro card which supports 4 monitors I didn’t want to add another card just for the fifth as it’s only to display the Cubase mixer then I discovered I can plug the short display port cable from an output on the graphics card to an input on the board this allows me to run two independent monitors up to 4K 60h from the Thunderbolt 3. Fantastic! The heatsinks for the VRM are improved and there is an included bracket for a 40mm fan. I bought a Noctua and installed it but I had to remove the board as the screws for the bracket are impossible to get in with it in place, so be aware if you are going to overclock and use this bracket fit it before you install the board to your case. Overall this is a massive improvement over the original x299 deluxe and is well worth the price tag.

La motherboard di per sé funziona e sembra ben fatta - ci mancherebbe altro vista la fascia di prezzo - peccato che come al solito (lo dico da assemblatore con una certa esperienza) la Asus non sembri in grado di fornire dei bios e dei driver decenti.Su questo modello, nello specifico, c'è un grosso problema di compatibilità tra la scheda wi-fi integrata e Windows 10, che causa continui crash e blue-screen. L'unica soluzione è disattivare il modulo wi-fi dal bios in modo da poter utilizzare il computer, installare manualmente i driver prendendoli in rete e infine riattivare la scheda wi-fi.Fattibile, certo, ma un'azienda seria non dovrebbe mettere sul mercato prodotti con problematiche simili. Con la Asus purtroppo non è affatto la prima volta che capita.

Ein Langzeitest steht noch aus, aber bisher funktioniert das Board absolut reibungslos mit einem 16 Kern Intel Prozessor. Sehr hilfreich auch das Onboard-Display, gerade bei einem duchsichtigen Case. 3 x M.2 sind sicherlich auch nicht zu verachten, aber insgesamt macht das Board einfach einen aufgeräumten und gut designten Eindruck - 5 Sterne.

Scheda madre con dotazione ottima e con espandibilità ancora migliore. 8 porte SATA, 3 slot M.2 PCIe (2 interni e 1 esterno) e pure i LED configurabili e il display OLED non li disprezzo.DIFETTI (che hanno comportato la stella in meno):- Il chip audio, checché ASUS dica che è HD, secondo me non è all'altezza. Il driver Realtek ad esempio non consente nemmeno di fare l'upmix di una sorgente stereo su una configurazione 5.1... Alla fine ho dovuto aggiungere una scheda esterna Audigy Z PCIe 1x, che però mi porta via 1 porta SATA.- ASUS dice che è normale con le schede recenti, ma io ODIO che all'avvio da freddo (= con spina staccata) faccia il test della memoria accendendo l'alimentatore per 2 o talvolta 3 cicli (si sente il click dell'alimentatore come se si premesse il tasto di accensione). Perciò devo lasciare la scheda e l'alimentatore in tensione tutto il tempo: non positivo per l'ambiente.

Dieses Mainboard ist der Inbegriff eines Fehlers. Ich habe es bekommen und die pins waren verbogen. In dem M.2 Halterungswärmeleitpasten. Waren Löcher.Habe ich wirklich einen ,,neuen" Artikel gekauft?Übrigens habe ich das Paket vor fast 2 Wochen wieder verschickt und ich hab das Geld nicht mal wiedergekriegt.
